The rooms were clean, but the bathroom was wet and there was no disinfectant. There were also no curtains on the windows, and even the minimal light from the outdoor lamps bothered me. I hope there will be a shuttle bus between the hotel and the airport in the future. Most guests arrive with heavy luggage and having to walk 1.4 km is really tiring.
Booking on behalf of people, there is an elevator, the front desk is not 24 hours, there is no kettle in the room, the front desk speaks French, not English.
very warm welcome at the reception of this First Class hotel, formerly Formula 1, completely renovated, see the photos of the room as well as the corridor and the view. located south of Troyes the location is close to the motorway interchange very good value for money I will come back without hesitation
Hotel well located, room correct bedding to be reviewed too dilapidated makes noise and not very pleasant for the back. No additional coverage depending on the season.
Price without discount too expensive for the service
Fortunately on the trip site. Com the room remains affordable at a fair value.
Very enjoyed here! Successful location - near and railway station and tram. All sights - in step-to-step availability. The room is clean, comfortable! Staff is always ready to help and solve all the issues. Leaving from the city I had a late time and my baggage was placed in the storage room, which allowed me to enjoy a walk in the beautiful city for a longer time. Thank you all!!!
It’s an ok stop over on the way back to Calais for us. There’s not a lot at the hotel and rooms are basic. Breakfast is included but basic and limited. Having said this, it does the job and for the price we paid it’s no problem.
Location is about 10 - 15mins walk to the Central train station. So if you plan on traveling outside Colmar, this is a pretty good location.
It is also around 10mins walk to the Little Venice canal and old town. So yeah, location is convenient.
The room is basic; no kettle, no fridge, no toothbrush/sandal. But you pay for what you get anyway.

GGuest UserThis was a convenient and affordable hotel for us to stay at when we visited over Christmas. We would compare it to a university dorm experience but at least it is close to the train station (10 minute walk) and not too far away from the old town area (10-20 minute walk to most major attractions). The hotel breakfast is great if you like croissants and dairy products. There isn't much around the hotel and it is a bit of a walk to any stores or restaurants. There is a halal shop within a 5 minute walk so if you're here over Christmas that is convenient because most places are closed early Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
The room had a decent bed that was larger than expected and it had two small pillows. The room also has a long desk area that has two closets for storage, a small TV and it was warm in December. There is a small kitchenette with a fridge, small microwave, a two burner hot plate, a kettle and enough dishes for the two of us. We appreciated that they provided a kitchen sponge and a small container of soap. When we got the room all the dishes were a little dirty so we had to do some cleaning up before dinner.
The bathroom was where we got the biggest dorm vibes from because it was a bit smelly when we arrived and that might be due to the hot water tank that had a leaky PSV. The shower was a bit small and while the head was adjustable, the bar grip was broken so we couldn't keep the shower head up high. There was some brown goo inside the shower and it could use a more thorough cleaning to help with the appearance and all.
We were surprised that the hotel rooms didn't have a hair dryer or bottle opener. The Alsace region is known for wine so we were able to get a nice bottle but we had to go to the front desk to borrow the opener. Hair dryers are available from the front desk but it is worth asking for these early to make sure you get one in case you need it. They had luggage storage behind the front desk that we were able to use when we arrived and the day we left so we could maximize our time sightseeing.
Visiting Strasbourg was fantastic and we would recommend this hotel if you're looking to save a bit while travelling through the area. We were happy with our stay and chose it because it also had an affordable breakfast option but we may look elsewhere if we return to Strasbourg.
AAnonymous UserHonestly one of the worst hostels I’ve stayed at in Europe. The reading light at my bed didn’t work and it never got fixed even after I told the staff. The rain shower was impossible to adjust — the water was way too hot. No hair dryer available either. The bed also had a weird sticky smell which wasn’t pleasant.
Pros:
Location is great, easy walking distance to main attractions like Notre-Dame de Strasbourg. The building and neighborhood look nice. Common space atmosphere is great and hype.
Average service from teenager staffs.
MMissus OEverything was fine as expected from a budget hotel. Receptionists were nice, although they can’t really speak English. The only issue upon check in was that I was asked to pay the hotel fees again even if I already prepaid online. They said that they did not charge the card when i made the prepayment as it was only meant to reserve the rooms. So i paid right then and there at the reception once again. Then this morning, i check that both cards (the one used for prepayment and the one used at the reception) were actually charged. Now, i have duplicate payments which I’m still tryint to resolve with Trip customer service.
In addition, we were suddenly awoken the next morning due to all the noise right outside our door. Somebody was shouting/talking so loudly and kept banging things. When i opened the door, it was the housekeeping lady. What is the purpose of putting the “do not disturb” sign on the door if the person who’s not supposed to disturb you is actually disturbing you from directly outside your room. This is the first time i have met such a loud housekeeper and the first time a housekeeper did not greet “good morning” eventhough we met eye-to-eye.
GGuest UserBooking Numbers: *********** (PIN 5187/hotel confirmation number: ***************) and *********** (PIN 8304/hotel confirmation number: ***************). We arrived at the hotel just before 8.00 pm on 22/03/2024 - tired after after a long day of travelling. When I presented our ”Check-in vouchers” for the two rooms that we had reserved and pre-paid for online with Trip.com, the lady at the reception said that they were only room guarantees and did not represent that we had already paid for the rooms before arriving at the hotel. Therefore, I gave her our written receipts from Trip.com for our payments for the two rooms and asked her to call Trip.com to confirm that we had already paid for the two rooms. She then gave us incorrect entry codes for our two rooms, for which I had to return to the reception where she then gave me the correct entry codes. Later that evening when we passed the reception to to go out of the hotel to find somewhere to eat and I asked her if she had telephoned Trip.com yet, she acknowledged that the rooms had already been paid for online.
GGenevieve PlagaSo what i like about the accomodation is just its just one trip away from the train station and the city center...it was also not so difficult to locate. Beds were comfortable and ofcourse its affordable. The staff were also very nice to us. I appreciate how the staff tried to communicate with us in english.
AAnonymous UserRoom was spacious, good and clean. The only thing was that the reception hours need to be communicated properly. We arrived at least half hour before the stated closing hours but already no one there. As we booked through trip.com, we didn’t receive the instructions to the safe where they dropped all the keys for « late » guests. But obviously we weren’t even late as mentioned, we arrived before the reception closing hours. Thankfully we met a gentleman who had the safe’s access code and we were able to retrieve our room keys
GGuest UserI needed a place to sleep overnight to break up my trip from the south of France ti Belgium, and this was perfect. Right off the highway, but with no traffic noise or pollution. The clientele, mostly truckers, were polite and quiet, there was no noise at night or in the hallways. The staff was pleasant and readily available, check-in and out was simple, the buffet dinner was a good quality all-you can-eat.
If you're looking for a clean, simple, friendly place to rest on your trip, I highly recommend this hotel.
DDiogo SerraHotel with a affordable price and quite well located in the public transport network, far from the city center confusion but in 10 minutes we were there.
GGuest UserCompared with it, domestic software is cheaper than booking. The only regret is that the breakfast package hotel is not included. French breakfast is generally simple and has nothing to do. Relatively speaking, it is much more cost-effective than booking.
