We loved staying here and we couldn’t fault it. Beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast, lovely staff. We were blessed.

I have only good things to say! Room was very spacious and lovely for the both of us and had everything you needed. We stayed in a triple room for 2 of us (but in the end room had 2 single beds and 2 bunk beds but no problems with that of course). Bed was very comfortable, shared showers and toilets outside were clean, spacious and bright. Counter staff Matt in particular was incredibly helpful and friendly, and helped us figure out a way to hike Blencathra via Sharp Edge in the morning, informed us of bus availabilities and schedules etc. They also allowed us to store luggage with them while we hiked and allowed us to use their toilets and showers to freshen up after the hike. We also had lunch there and food was delicious!! Really great hotel very value for money. Thank you!

Super five⭐ quality ~ Large space, clean, with different public areas, two large kitchens fully equipped, dining area, TV area, reading area, location and scenery first-class.

The service staff is very kind, there are services such as dinner and breakfast that can be paid, the breakfast content is very rich, it is worth it, but the network wifi is not very stable, the water pressure and compartment in the bathroom are a bit small

The location is a little far from the lake, just a ten-minute walk, but it is the main road through the town. It is also good to look all the way. The house itself is relatively old, please be careful when carrying large boxes, as going up and down the stairs may be a bit difficult.

The service staff is very kind, there is a rich and delicious breakfast to make an appointment, but unfortunately the location is a bit far for the hikers, and the Wi-Fi in the room is not smooth, I hope to improve, the others are very good, especially the room is clean and tidy, very comfortable!
