My stay at Villa Luzzatti was wonderful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the location made it easy to get around. The staff provided excellent service and were always welcoming. Amenities were good overall, though there’s still some room for improvement. A great choice for solo travelers looking for a pleasant and convenient stay.

I had an amazing stay at Hostel Castello Maggione in Rome truly a 5-star experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. They were friendly, helpful, and always ready with great tips about the city.
The location is perfect close to major attractions and well connected by public transport, making it super easy to explore Rome. The atmosphere in the hostel is relaxed and social, ideal for meeting other travelers while still being able to enjoy some quiet time when needed.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the common areas were cozy and inviting. Everything felt safe and well organized, which made my stay stress-free.
Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Great value for money, excellent service, and a fantastic vibe. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome!

For a private room near Termini Station at this price, I have no complaints. The building is old but well-maintained. Since I was only staying for two nights, I declined housekeeping, but the housekeeping staff made a very good impression. You can feel their effort to make the most of the limited space for a comfortable stay.
The hotel has a very good quality and good quality food and products at km0 . The rooms are clean and clean, the SPA is a pleasant surprise, a much higher level than many other hotels, and the required figure is ridiculous.
The staff is more than available and kind.
- I'll see you soon.

We stayed as a family in a premium bungalow, it is very clean and well equipped. Im honestly really impressed how clean it is. All the linen, towels, duvet are spotless. There is a dishwasher, but we didnt have a dishwasher cleaning tablets, so we couldn’t use it. There is a bbq, we didnt use it either. The pools amenities are fantastic and really clean. There are a few eateries, a shop, a laundry. Our location was far from the pool and playgrounds, the closer units might be challenging to stay in with kids, there is a lot happening and it is loud late in the evening. Overall we really enjoyed it and kids loved it. We didnt need the shuttle bus, so cant comment on it. The only thing is that after a checkout I entered a shop to buy something and kept my credit card in my pocket, when I wanted to pay at a cashier, my card disappeared. I searched the small shop in case it fell out but no success. So I guess you have to be careful.
I booked a 1day-stay at Gloria Hotel thru online arrangements at Via Germanico in Rome. To my surprise, l was informed that my check-in was booked for the next day instead of my perceived present booking date. A gentleman from the Hotel (l think his name was Arminio?) was quite polite to inform me that l mistakenly booked a wrong date and that no vacancy was available that day. He was just so helpful and kind enough to accommodate leaving our 6 large, heavy baggages at the reception area until we could find a place to stay elsewhere in town on that day. The flight going up to the 4th floor is quite a challenge given the antiquated elevator that can only accommodate 2 persons or 1 person plus 1 large baggage at a time. Luckily, he was able to make arrangements with another Hotel on the 2nd floor (Nautilius Hotell), wherein a last room was available to accommodate our transfer. Although my booking was non-refundable for cancelation, l admit it was an oversight on my part, and that the hospitality and cordial treatment by Mr. Arminio was truly worth my commendation and gratitude to all the staff of Gloria Hotel. I will definitely book here again when l return to Rome soon. The location is perfect within a quiet neighborhood just proximal to the walls of the Vatican and nearby shopping! Grazie mille, Hotel Gloria. Dio vi benedica!
The location is excellent—very peaceful, quiet, and well maintained. The place was neat and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. They even called to confirm our exact location, which was very helpful.
Was an absolute bargain compared to nearby hotels at the time of booking nevermind in town. Lovely little room and good that it had a.c to heat the space when required as the first couple of nights we did feel a little cold but grateful we travelled in spring and not summer. Access isnt always the best but its good to the local train station and if you use the bus right outside the resort.
What an amazing place, i finished my cycle ride from Canterbury -Rome on the francigena. I’ve stayed in many hostel type accommodations but this one is more like a hotel, very clean, all amenities you could possibly need, 24hr front desk, laundromat, big beautiful relaxing private courtyard which i thought was super cool ,relaxing lounge, bar , restaurant with delicious tapas and other food, really nice buffet breakfast , its in the heart of rome, easy bus and train connections, 20 mins from main tourist spots. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and nothing was an issue for them.. bar and waiting staff really cheerful, all the staff were multi lingual. I had an issue where i needed a bike bag from decathlon (only one in stock!)about 10km cycle ride away, the lovely woman at reception called them for me to make sure it was still there and to hold it back for me 🥰 I really can’t fault it, electronic entry, lovely big bunks, lovely shower and toilet in each room! Very affordable when you consider the cost of other accommodation in such a location. I will most definitely return on my next visit to Rome and highly recommend to travellers ❤️
This was such an amazing find! From the friendliness of the staff, to cleanliness of the rooms and the brilliant location - most things were in walking distance and it's close to a metro line. I was here from 29th Dec '24 - 3rd Jan '25. I was initially really sceptical about staying in a hostel... However, to my complete surprise, it was the best decision ever. The staff really made us all feel at home! The bathrooms are cleaned daily. If you want to use a towel, they are available for rent. The beds and drawers are both lockable, and the room I stayed in was a 3 bed female room, which was also locked. On New Years Eve, we were all invited to join in for a special meal. For a low cost, we were served a 3 course home cooked meal! It was absolutely delicious! The diverse group around the table were amazing. We all shared our travel stories and then went off to watch the fireworks at midnight at the colosseum (which is only a 20min walk away). Everyone was super friendly, and I would absolutely recommend Free Hostels Roma to anyone travelling through or alone. What a great way to meet like-minded people!
Fantastic stay at Villa Aurora rooms whilst I was in Rome. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-furnished. Fully functional air conditioning (rather than those temperamental units in other places) really was a joy to come back to during the heat of a Rome summer. But so far, I've just commented on some features of the room, rather than my experience here. What will endure in my memory as I look back was the warm, classically no-nonsense Italian hospitality I had from Donatella. Throughout my time here, she made sure I was well looked after with room cleaning, bottled water, towels etc. But I most appreciate her assistance in terms of local knowledge. Local knowledge such as a good seafood restaurant , ”Trattoria del pesce” just down the road (which happens to also be in the Michelin guide); such as to not miss out on the Baths of Caracalla; and perhaps more trivially, but arguably also essential, where to do my laundry! Thank you so much for making my stay here such a pleasure Donatella, and for adding both a new Italian word and outlook to my vocabulary - ”tranquilo”.
The hotel seemed recently renovated. Its location was very convenient, close to Termini station and within walking distance of the Colosseum. The room and bathroom were clean and larger than we expected. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was the daily €5 charge for the air conditioning, which felt a bit unusual.
A very clean and spacious room. Clean bathroom with good water pressure and hot water works perfectly well especially during this cold winter. I highly recommend this place to all. Their staffs were very kind and helpful. Location is great especially if you have an early airport bus to catch or morning train departure. This is a well maintained old building, and i appreciate that the hotel did some upgrading work to refurbish the bathroom/room. Thank you to everyone in Hotel Demetra.
