My stay at Villa Luzzatti was wonderful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the location made it easy to get around. The staff provided excellent service and were always welcoming. Amenities were good overall, though there’s still some room for improvement. A great choice for solo travelers looking for a pleasant and convenient stay.

The location is perfect and Alex was very helpful and nice. He read all of out messages before coming which is a request for an early check in and extra pillows and blankets and he did that. The only comments I have is that the room is a bit tight and the bed is a bit small for 2 people, I kept on hitting my wife while sleeping and of course the stairs but honestly all of that is not even a problem compared to the location and cleanliness and the staff friendliness.

The host was very kind and friendly, always smiling and welcoming, and always willing to help me with any questions or requests. I am very grateful. The room was cleaned daily by staff and kept tidy. The room is centrally located, making it very convenient to get to tourist attractions. I checked out at 11 am but left my luggage until 3:30 pm. This is a huge plus.

The room was a bit small, and the soundproofing wasn't great. However, everything else was impeccable – from the convenient location, cleanliness, and excellent facilities (both in terms of completeness and how new they were) to the ease of communication and the overall ambiance, it was all outstanding.

The best thing about this place was definitely its location. Situated right in the center of Rome, I could walk to major attractions like the Colosseum. Even the Vatican was only a 40-50 minute walk away. I think exploring Rome on foot is the best way to discover hidden gems and sights, rather than taking the subway, and this central location, coupled with the affordable price, was perfect for that. While bidets aren't standard, it was a pleasant surprise for me, as someone used to Japanese washlets, to find a shower hose next to the toilet. On the first night, there was a very loud snorer, and I struggled to sleep even with earplugs. However, after that person checked out on the second day, it was much more comfortable. Being a shared room, it really depends on who you're bunking with. There was even a day when both men and women were in the same room. Each room has an attached bathroom with a toilet and shower combined. However, in a 6-person room with only one bathroom, you have to wait if someone else is using it, which also means waiting to use the toilet. The front desk staff were friendly and left a good impression. There was no need to pay a deposit (only for renting a hairdryer), just the city tax.

It was a bit old, so I was worried, but it was perfect in terms of location. It was a great location for a Vatican tour! I think it would be good if they just paid more attention to cleaning the public bathroom floor~!

It was a great stay here at Hotel Lodi. My partner and I are used to simple and modest places as we've been traveling across Europe so Hotel Lodi was everything we were looking for. The en suite was clean and came with good amenities like soap, body wash, and shampoo. And our room had a TV so we were able to relax and enjoy a show together every night. The Italian guy at the desk was super nice and funny. If you go there with a kind attitude, you'll surely receive the energy back. A few notes, I don't think there's an elevator there so this might not be great for people traveling with a ton of luggage. However my partner and I only had a large backpack each so it was good for us to make it up and down the stairs. Another fun thing to do get around town is the Lime Bikes all around the neighborhood. There were lots around Hotel Lodi it made the slightly inconvenient area of stay way more convenient.

GGuest UserThe park and our chalet were spotless. The staff were helpful and provided excellent service. The security guards also did a great job. It's highly recommended for families, especially because of the swimming pools and all the amenities they have to keep the kids entertained. Rome is easily accessible by public transport or car. We'll definitely be back next year, as it's a park where you can truly enjoy your stay!

GGuest UserOverall, it was a good stay, including the location and the staff's service. However, the hot water pressure in the shower was unstable; sometimes no hot water came out at all, or it took an unusually long time for the hot water to start flowing. Because of this, I had to keep a tiny trickle of hot water running throughout my shower, which was a bit of a hassle to manage.

SSKV562I stayed at hu Roma Camping in Town and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The property is surrounded by greenery, and the facilities like the pool and restaurant were great after long days of sightseeing. The bus stop nearby made it fairly easy to reach central Rome, though travel time can be a bit long. The room was clean and comfortable, though a bit basic. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the on-site store was very convenient. Overall, it’s a good place for travellers who want value for money and don’t mind staying slightly outside the city centre.

WWandering WillowIt's a great place for solo traveller to meet others especially young people. The owner is very friendly and accomodating. They even provided free couscous for dinner. It's actually near Manzoni metro dtation, bit far from Termini. But for 1 night stay, it's okay and adequate.

GGuest UserFantastic stay at Villa Aurora rooms whilst I was in Rome. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-furnished. Fully functional air conditioning (rather than those temperamental units in other places) really was a joy to come back to during the heat of a Rome summer. But so far, I've just commented on some features of the room, rather than my experience here. What will endure in my memory as I look back was the warm, classically no-nonsense Italian hospitality I had from Donatella. Throughout my time here, she made sure I was well looked after with room cleaning, bottled water, towels etc. But I most appreciate her assistance in terms of local knowledge. Local knowledge such as a good seafood restaurant , ”Trattoria del pesce” just down the road (which happens to also be in the Michelin guide); such as to not miss out on the Baths of Caracalla; and perhaps more trivially, but arguably also essential, where to do my laundry! Thank you so much for making my stay here such a pleasure Donatella, and for adding both a new Italian word and outlook to my vocabulary - ”tranquilo”.

KKThe staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms appear to be freshly refurbished—clean, spacious, with high ceilings. The downside is that we need to walk up 2 storey to reach the rooms. We paid an extra €5 per night for air conditioning. Even though it wasn’t too hot in late August, some ventilation was needed. However, opening the window wasn’t ideal because of the traffic.

NNatthenutterThis hotels location is great. It's near to everything. I walked to the main tourist attractions. The hotel room was great. I was expecting a single room, but I got a double, always a bonus. The room is a little dated, but I quite liked that. It took me back to when I was a child going down the working man's club with my parents 🤣 keeping it retro , love it! The room had everything I needed. It was clean and light (even had shutters and blacked out curtains, which made the room dark). The staff were helpful & polite, which is all I ask for. The only negatives were the tram line (which could be quite loud and rumble at times) & the hotel tax; they wanted it in cash/euros I didn't have any euros as I didn't think I'd need them, thinking I could pay with everything by card. Other than that, a great stay in Rome.
