JianGuo Hidden Hotel （Beijing Tian An Men Wangfujing store）

Location Location and Location are the key of this hotel. Just only few steps to Wangfujing Shopping Street and Metro Line 8 (exit B). Upon Jinyu Hutong Station (Line 8) at exit B, there is escalator to move you with or without luggage easily. Then, you can go to hotel smoothly. Jianguo Puyin Hotel has been renamed to Jianguo Hidden Hotel recently, I guess, since AMAP or Apple Map could not locate current hotel name of "Hidden". Hotel Location is near Starbucks, Mc Donald, APM Mall, Wangfujing area, etc. If you wat to visit The Palace Museum, I recommend you to take a walk, approx 20 min) from the hotel to The Palace Museum at Ticket Office + Entrance Gate (sane area). Didi or Metro will take you a little bit far from Entrance Gate if you plan to do so. Breakfast is local style. Variety of foods are almost the same upon my stay 5D4N. Good Price is compared to Location. Highly recommended

Everything is good. Hotel staffs are very helpful. We enjoy staying here very much. It’s near APM department store where we go to eat almost everyday (different restaurants daily, most of them are delicious). Surrounded with many shopping areas and nearby subway.

The hotel really in the best location. Just in front of apm mall where you can stop by shopping or find foods. And the subway entrance just few steps away as well. Also walkable to forbidden city and wangfujing area. The staffs quite helpful eventhough some of them don't really speak english. The best part is they have laundry room and if you don't have time to wash it by yourself you can ask the staffs to wash it for you for free. But you need to fold it by yourself and no undies too. Still, plus point if you back home with clean clothes. For the room is clean and not that big but enough for 2 adults and 1 6y.o.

Perfect hotel to stay in Beijing! Great location, opposite APM Mall with many shops, eateries along the streets. The service staff is friendly, helpful, warm and attentive. The location is fantastic and right beside subway station. The hotel staff is really proactive and service oriented! They stretched out their helping hand without asking to! Great to meet kind people! The only cons is the laundry room, limited machines and long queue to use.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!!! This is THE worst 4-star hotel experience I've ever had. Room is very average and customer service is appalling. Firstly, our room had no bathroom door. Literally (look at the picture). There was no door to the bathroom, so anyone who walked past the bathrom would see you with your pants down on the toilet. If you wanted to poo, the smell would drift out into the rest of the room. If you're having a shower, everyone's going to see you butt naked. When we rang the front desk about this, they said that this type of room just had no bathroom door, and that this was normal for this room type. I told them that the pictures on their site all showed doors in their bathroom. They then offered to switch us to a room on level 1 which had a door (which shows that they were just lying to us about the room type at first). We asked if we could be upgraded to a different room (spending extra would've been fine). They said that they were fully booked out, which I suspect was untrue as there was still room availability online. There was no attempt to help us with this problem. They just lied and tried to pretend this was normal. However, we were too tired to argue, so we agreed to move to the level 1 room. BUT there were other problems instead! The heating only worked above the desk, so the room was cold every morning when we got out of bed or went to the bathroom. The toilet smelled like sewage. On the morning of our last day, the whole hallway on level 1 smelled like sewage. It's also EXTREMELY noisy on level 1, so if you still insist on staying here, make sure to ask for a room on a different level. Other issues: - The staff never offered to help with luggage or doors. There are steps up to the hotel and to level 1. We had two big suitcases and two bags, and not a single person came to help with opening the door. - Bathroom smelled like smoke all the time, even though we booked a non-smoking room. - The wifi wasn't connecting to our phones at first. The front desk said that this was because our phones were international, so we just couldn't connect to their wifi. We told them that this was incorrect, as we both had Chinese sim cards. Our phones ended up connecting to the wifi (it was just slow to connect), but again, this is an example of the front desk blatantly lying to us. - The location is good, but there are a lot of hotels in the same area with much better customer service.
