We stayed for one night at WorldHotels Long Beach Resort Phu Quoc with 2 adults and 3 kids (aged 3, 3, and 7). The hotel prepared a little surprise for us: two bottles of orange juice and a chocolate dessert, and they also thoughtfully decorated the bed, which thrilled the kids! The room was very clean, the property feels brand new, and the environment and facilities are both excellent. They even allowed us an early check-in, one hour ahead of schedule.
The kids especially loved the children's pool because it features a mini water park. Lifeguards are on duty, making it very safe. The kids' pool is 0.7 meters deep, while the adult pool is about 1.45 meters deep. It’s only a 5-minute walk from the rooms to Long Beach. There are restaurants along the beach; we ordered a few drinks, a pizza, and an Indonesian fried rice—the food was delicious and reasonably priced for mid-range. The sand is white, the water is turquoise, and it's a relatively clean beach. The kids spent about 5 hours having a blast between the kids' pool and the beach. Golden hour for the sunset is roughly between 5:30 PM and 5:45 PM, so we recommend heading down to the beach or the adult pool a bit early to catch it.
We had dinner at the hotel, ordering the grilled seafood, a plate of crab fried rice, and a plate of tomato pasta. It tasted good and was moderately priced. We were very satisfied with the hot water temperature and water pressure in the room. The hotel breakfast had a great variety, and the dining environment was comfortable. The hotel also offers a free airport shuttle. Our flight was at 1:45 PM, so we took the shuttle around 10:00 AM—just remember to reserve your spots with the hotel in advance.
