Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing Hotel

My stay at the Renaissance Jinmao was incredibly satisfying! The location is excellent, with convenient access to transportation. Selina at the front desk provided exceptional service; the check-in process was smooth, and her communication was gentle and thoughtful. The hotel's facilities are top-notch, and the environment is spotless. From arrival to check-in, the entire experience was comfortable. I heard the Forbidden City view was good, so I came to check it out, and it was quite a pleasant surprise, higher than the Mandarin Oriental and offering a different feel. I've attached a selfie for comparison. It's worth noting that the pool is larger than the Mandarin Oriental's and doesn't have lanes, which I really liked. The water quality is equally excellent. Definitely worth coming back to.

The hotel environment is elegant and the rooms are clean. The only downside is that for a five-star luxury hotel, charging for the cola in the minibar (20 RMB per can) feels quite unreasonable.

For the past four or five years, I've visited Beijing once or twice annually, and each time I stay at the Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing Hotel. The location is excellent; the hotel is situated at the entrance of Wangfujing Commercial Street, just a 5-minute walk from the National Art Museum and Jinyu Hutong stations on Metro Line 8. The hotel rooms are spacious and very clean. The absolute highlight is the panoramic view of the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park right outside the window. The breakfast selection is extensive. You can choose to dine on the first floor or in the executive lounge on the 17th floor. The executive lounge offers complimentary soft drinks and coffee all day, as well as afternoon tea and dinner, which is very convenient. I must particularly commend the hotel's service. This trip, I was traveling with my parents and had booked different room types, but we wanted to be on the same floor. Special thanks to Cherry for patiently understanding my request and helping me achieve this during the peak National Day holiday period. During check-in, Jasmine was meticulous and patient, and she arranged for our luggage to be delivered to our room while we were out exploring. At check-out, Cecilia was gentle, friendly, professional, and efficient. Any time a concierge saw guests with luggage in the lobby, they immediately came over to assist. On one occasion, I mumbled that I hadn't brought any water while we were heading out, and a concierge instantly offered me a bottle of drinking water. Five-star service truly lies in these small details. Highly recommended!

The location is also excellent, making it very convenient for traveling with kids.

The room was pretty good. Even though it was a crowded National Day holiday, the service remained excellent. The hot water supply was also great, which is something many people care about, so you can rest assured. The breakfast suited my taste. Overall, the service was consistently good. Next time, I might suggest trying the executive lounge; the view is lovely. I've stayed at most of the hotels in this area before, and I feel this one still meets the expectations for its price point.

As a five-star hotel, the lobby's design is very distinctive and luxurious. The staff are also polite, and check-in was relatively quick. However, the rooms are a bit disappointing. They feel cramped and dated, and the fixtures are old. Breakfast variety is just average. The saving grace is the good location; you can walk to the Forbidden City, Wangfujing, Yintai, and other commercial areas.

Cecilia provided efficient service. The hotel boasts an excellent location, making travel convenient. The public areas are meticulously maintained, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options. Overall, the quality is high, and it's definitely worth recommending.

For our Beijing trip, we chose this hotel because of its incredibly convenient location. We booked two rooms for four nights, and what we loved most was how comfortable the beds were. The hotel also had a very cozy vibe. A big thank you to Selina for arranging our rooms and for the daily afternoons; the courtyard afternoon tea experience was absolutely wonderful. The view from the room's window was also quite nice. All in all, it was a great trip.
