The room's location is absolutely unbeatable, and the large balcony offers an amazing night view. It's super convenient as you can walk a few steps to see the flag-raising ceremony. Definitely recommended for those who find the price acceptable. Also, I'd suggest the owner turn on the ventilation or exhaust fan in the hallway. The air fresheners aren't really necessary, as they don't cover up the musty smell. Or even better, just replace the carpet with tile, which would be much better.

The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the mattress was just the right firmness; even after several nights, I didn't experience any back pain or fatigue. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, with stable hot water and a full set of toiletries. The cleaning staff were punctual each day, tidying the room, changing towels, and emptying trash bags. The tabletops and floors were spotless, making it easy to keep the room clean even during a longer stay, which was a huge plus.

Pretty good. I stayed for 4 nights, mainly because of its convenient location right on the commercial street. It's very close to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, and the subway (Lines 2 and 8) is right downstairs, with stations just out front. Be sure to check when booking, as there are rooms with inner windows and outer windows – an inner window is basically like having no window at all!
