JI Hotel (Guangzhou Zhujiang New Town Canton Tower)

Environment: The environment is good, with a view of IFC from the window. Just a shame I encountered a thunderstorm, so the weather wasn't great. Hygiene: The hygiene was also good. Facilities: The phone was broken, so I couldn't reach the front desk directly and had to call them. Also, when the robot came to deliver something, it couldn't get in because the phone wasn't working, which made my child unhappy as they couldn't see the robot.

The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The bathroom had no unpleasant odors. The front desk staff were warm and attentive. Guangzhou's transportation is convenient and efficient, making it easy to get anywhere. I'll definitely visit again if I have the chance!

This is the most dilapidated and oldest Hanting I've ever stayed in, and the toilet smelled the worst. (It's a pity I didn't take any photos or videos.)

The room change process was smooth. We stayed in a top-floor room with a view of Canton Tower, and the nighttime view was beautiful. However, there were signs of dampness in the room (though no odor), and the toilet and shower areas were quite small.

First off, the bathroom – there's nowhere to hang clothes or towels. For business travelers like us, sharing a room with a colleague, it's incredibly awkward and inconvenient having to step out of the bathroom just to change or dry off. Second, it's been raining non-stop in Guangzhou these past few days. Every time we leave or return, we have to get in and out of the car right on the roadside. The hotel entrance clearly used to have a designed parking area that would have protected us from the elements. Now, the road leading in is blocked by several barriers, making it really inconvenient to get in and out of cars, especially with luggage, which gets completely soaked. It's so unthoughtful and stubborn.

Overall, it was a good experience. The hotel is conveniently located and seems quite popular, as it was pretty full. The soundproofing was decent. They even upgraded my room when I checked in, which was a nice touch. However, perhaps because it's in a prime area of Guangzhou, the room was quite small, especially the bathroom – it was a tiny strip, haha.

Located in the Zhujiang New Town CBD, very close to Canton Tower. The room was comfortable and quiet, I had a great rest. They offer luggage storage, and the staff are all very friendly. It's suitable for long-term stays. I love Ji Hotel, I'll stay at Ji Hotel again!

Windows above the 20th floor cannot be opened, but those below can. The front desk kindly arranged a room for me on the 18th floor, and check-in was seamless. The room's location and view are excellent; you can see the Canton Tower, and it's very close to the Canton Fair complex and the US Consulate for visa applications. The room doesn't face the street, so it's relatively quiet at night. The overall environment is quite satisfactory.

Terrible, the room reeked of mildew.
