Kempinski Hotel Beijing Yansha Center

The room features a classic European hotel style. The location is fantastic and very convenient for getting to the airport. The Liangma River next to the hotel is lovely for a stroll at night, with plenty of restaurants around, and it's also very easy to get to Sanlitun Taikoo Li.

Instead of traveling far this National Day holiday, I opted for a staycation. I'd heard good things about Kempinski before, so I decided to experience it for myself this time. It's really convenient; right outside is the Liangma River, perfect for a pleasant stroll to relax! Service: Check-in was handled by Lilian, who was very warm and efficient. Many thanks to her for the reception. After checking in, any requests for daily necessities were delivered by the staff immediately, which made for a great experience.

The hotel environment is absolutely superb, and the decor is incredibly tasteful. It really lives up to its reputation as a long-standing five-star hotel. There were so many international guests staying there. The breakfast offered a great mix of Chinese and Western options, and it was delicious. I loved it!

Great location! It's quiet yet central, with a back exit from the pastry shop directly to the Liangma River. Perfect for a morning or evening stroll. You can even walk along the river all the way to Solana, which is super convenient. Plus, you get a 20% discount at the pastry shop if you charge it to your room – awesome!

Kempinski maintained its consistently high standards in both facilities and service. However, I have to complain that booking through Trip.com was significantly more expensive than other platforms. I only realized this after completing the reservation, which feels like price discrimination against loyal users. I'll definitely compare prices across multiple platforms before booking next time.

Overlooking the Liangma River, the location is excellent, close to Sanlitun and Solana. It's perfect for a relaxed family outing with kids and shopping. Both the room and service are fantastic. This time, the hotel's lunch buffet featured Beef Wellington, and the breakfast buffet offered a great mix of Western and Chinese options. It's definitely our top choice for a family vacation.

Pros: The breakfast was ample, the environment was pleasant, the location was convenient, and check-out was at 2 PM. Complimentary Coke, Sprite, beer, and soda water were also a nice touch. Cons: It took 30 minutes for my food delivery to be brought to my room! I had to call multiple times to rush them. At that rate, I might as well have gone downstairs to pick it up myself! The front desk phone was always busy or went unanswered. And about the bathroom design, is a bathtub really necessary? Please see the photos.

For our Mid-Autumn Festival staycation with our 7-month-old baby, we chose the jungle-themed family room at the Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Center. Before check-in, our butler, Ms. Silvia, contacted us in advance to arrange a bed rail and connecting beds, and also pre-booked afternoon tea for us. The room was full of childlike charm, and our baby was incredibly curious and captivated by everything. The hotel's lawn was also perfect for playing. The room was clean and hygienic, with a great view, directly overlooking the Liangma River. The staff were enthusiastic, interacting warmly with our baby, and even left small mooncakes during turn-down service. The breakfast, delicatessen, and Paulaner Bräuhaus all offered good quality food. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay! The only issue was that there's no direct elevator from the underground parking to the lobby, which was inconvenient when handling luggage.

Overall, I'm satisfied. It's close to the subway station, right by Liangma Bridge, and the surrounding environment is beautiful. The breakfast is also great, with a comprehensive selection of both Western and Chinese options. It's pretty good, and I'll definitely book here again next time I'm in Beijing!
