Kerry Hotel, Beijing

I wonder if the staff handling Ctrip bookings understand the hotel's motto: 'A love letter to the city.' Every interaction with a customer reflects how welcomed hotel guests truly feel. Even with a great stay, if a guest notes an early arrival, copying and pasting a response about full-day charges from X to X o'clock and half-day charges from X to X o'clock is simply wrong and inappropriate. (In this situation, I just canceled. 😑 It's not like Beijing doesn't have other resort hotels.) It's disheartening and unprofessional. Aside from a staff member whose English name was 'Huang something,' the entire communication process lacked any international standard. It was cold, indifferent, and they couldn't be bothered to do a little extra. I suspect the people processing Ctrip orders hate their jobs. What I remember most vividly is a previous booking where, due to a minor note, Ctrip called me twice to relay the hotel's requests. I angrily complained, and that's why there wasn't a third call. Your reservation handling truly leaves a lot to be desired. To say it's unwelcome isn't quite right; it's more like a letdown. It feels like they treat guests like employees, responding like they're reciting from an employee manual. The service at the executive lounge, however, was as thoughtful and consistent as ever. The male staff members are familiar faces and speak excellent English; the female staff rotate frequently. The bathtubs on the executive floor need renovation. And please don't give me a room ending in '3' next time. The iced latte at breakfast was very good. I will continue to frequent the executive lounge and monitor the reservation department's attitude. I'll complain if necessary, after all, going to a hotel on the weekend should be enjoyable. Housekeeping efficiency is extremely high.

Kerry Hotel, Beijing offers excellent facilities and professional, attentive service. Its prime location makes getting around a breeze, with plenty of shops and diverse dining options nearby. The rooms are comfortable and spotless, making it a great choice for both business and leisure travelers.

Poor cleanliness is simply unacceptable. The sofa and carpet were really dirty, especially the gaps in the sofa and windowsill. It looked like the carpet hadn't been cleaned in centuries. There was no capsule coffee machine, and the hairdryer was an antique from the last century, practically unusable. Besides the 'big pants' (CCTV Headquarters) outside the window, what exactly do you offer for over a thousand a night? And don't even get me started on the kettle!

The location is fantastic, very convenient for getting anywhere from Guomao. The hotel's pool is great – not crowded and has a nice atmosphere. The only downside was that the women's changing room hot spring wasn't open. On the other hand, the gym is really well-equipped and everything is well-maintained. It's perfect for a weekend stay.

The room was elegant and spacious, the bedding soft and luxurious, and the toiletries were from a high-end brand, showcasing quality in every detail. I especially want to praise the service – every staff member greeted me with a genuine smile and proactive courtesy. Housekeeping was incredibly responsive, and the turndown service included a thoughtful little card and calming tea. Breakfast was abundant and exquisite; the eggs Benedict were comparable to a fine dining restaurant, and the coffee was freshly ground and excellent. The pool was comfortably heated, and the gym was open 24/7 and fully equipped. At check-out, the front desk proactively asked about my stay and even presented a parting gift. I was genuinely touched by their attentiveness. Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, this is undoubtedly the best choice. I've already recommended it to friends, and next time I'm in this city, I will definitely choose to stay here again! ✨
