Xana Hotelle Hotel (Beijing Tiananmen Square Qianmen Pedestrian Street)

I booked several attractions at Tiananmen Square on different dates, and didn't want to carry a bag to speed through security. Staying in Qianmen was really convenient for getting around. As soon as you step out, you're right on Qianmen Street, which is great for souvenirs and food. It was also easy to catch a taxi from the Qianmen South Exit.

Traveling to Beijing with my child, I chose the Xana Hotel on Qianmen Street for its excellent location. Stepping out, we were right at Zhengyang Gate on the central axis, which made for a fantastic first impression. The hotel is conveniently located near Metro Lines 2, 7, and 8, making it easy to visit attractions during the day. Every evening, we enjoyed strolling through the old shops in the hutongs of Qianmen Street. Being so close, we were able to grab breakfast directly at Siji Minfu in the mornings, and in the evenings, we caught a De Yun She crosstalk performance and even saw Peking Opera at Tianleyuan. Each day was made sweeter with a matcha ice cream from Wuyutai and a milky coffee from Renmin Café. The hotel room layout was very comfortable, and it had a unique feature: you could listen to music while showering, which was very relaxing. My child absolutely loved this trip, and we felt very safe throughout. This is a heartfelt recommendation!
