The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou

The room was cozy, well-equipped, and very clean. The service was excellent, and the surrounding area has convenient transportation and a variety of delicious food options.

First time staying at the Ritz-Carlton. The concierge here was very polite and helped us with our 10+ pieces of luggage in no time. Nora, from the front desk, offered an excellent solution for our early arrival. She had a kind smile, and I was very happy she handled my check-in. The restaurant staff were all very friendly. The breakfast buffet was also great. The cleaning staff kept everything very clean. Extended my stay for another two nights.

This hotel really exceeded my expectations, and not in a good way. Before booking, I'd already confirmed a few things with the front desk, and they assured me they'd make a note. But on the day of arrival, I was told I couldn't check in until 4 PM. Seriously? It's the first time I've ever had to wait until after 4 PM to check into a hotel. Then, I booked a suite which was supposed to include executive lounge access, but when I got there, the staff denied any such benefit. I was absolutely furious. This is the only hotel I've ever stayed at that had so many problems. Thankfully, the lobby manager understood my frustration and eventually added the executive benefits. I didn't want to let it ruin my whole day, so overall, my experience was pretty subpar. However, the lobby manager deserves a big thumbs up 👍; his attitude at least didn't disappoint me. The 4.0 rating is purely for him; everything else doesn't deserve that score, and I won't be staying here again.

Prime location in Zhujiang New Town with an absolutely stunning night view. The Ritz-Carlton's service was excellent. A big thank you to Cici He at the front desk for her wonderful service; she upgraded our room, decorated it, and even included breakfast. The mattress firmness was just right, and the bathroom featured marble and a deep soaking tub. The breakfast was delicious too, with all freshly squeezed juices.

The hygiene was excellent, and the hotel environment was great. We had a wonderful experience. Cici's service was also very nice. Highly recommend, worth coming back to again.

1. Great location, convenient for sightseeing, getting around, and shopping. 2. The room layout is well-designed, making for a very comfortable stay. 3. The staff are warm and attentive, leading to a good experience with both check-in and dining. 4. Toiletries were replenished promptly, and the cleanliness was satisfactory.

The service attitude was terrible. When I booked the hotel, it mentioned welcome fruit. Around 9 PM, I asked the front desk about it, and they just said they'd get back to me later. The service from the breakfast staff was even worse. I was clearly waiting in line for steamed buns, and someone cut in front of me to order noodles. The staff member then went to cook noodles for them. Shouldn't there be a first-come, first-served rule? (Or they should have more staff there.) I'm so speechless... Bad service really affects the entire stay.

Still very comfortable! The exterior is nice, the room amenities are complete, and I always sleep soundly every time I visit! The Chinese restaurant is highly recommended! It can rival the Chinese restaurants at Shangri-La, Marriott, and Four Seasons 👍
