Beijing Oriental Mao Hotel (NanluoguLane Beixinqiao Subway Station)

Traveling with kids, the front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and even upgraded our room. The location is excellent, with nearby hutong tours and special exhibitions at the National Art Museum of China that are definitely worth a visit.

The location and environment are pretty good. The facilities are a bit old, but they're still functional. The air conditioning is a bit noisy and takes a while to kick in. It's quite quiet at night though, suitable for business trips.

Got a free upgrade, and the room was very spacious. It's about a 5-minute walk from the metro station, and there are plenty of dining options nearby.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from Beixinqiao subway station. It's even more convenient if you're coming from the airport, as you can take the subway directly to Beixinqiao station. If you want to explore Nanluoguxiang, Guijie (Ghost Street), or Houhai at night, you can even walk! This is a well-established five-star hotel that's quite standard, with spacious rooms. The breakfast selection is also quite rich. Overall, it offers great value for money. In short, it's a good choice for a trip to Beijing. Because Beijing is so vast, convenient transportation is a top priority.

Excellent, very good! It's clean and hygienic, and conveniently located. Getting to Guijie and Nanluoguxiang is super easy. A special shout-out to the front desk staff, who upgraded us to a suite – the experience was absolutely fantastic! I'd definitely stay here again next time I visit.

Honestly, finding a hotel with this much space and amenities in the heart of old Beijing in early August is quite rare. The room was spacious, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the design was distinctive. The hallways were also quiet. There was only one thing that disappointed me: breakfast. At 150 yuan per person, the breakfast wasn't cheap, but the selection was truly limited. When I asked the noodle chef if they had wontons, the answer was no. Then he retorted, "Why are so many people asking for wontons today?" I was speechless. If you know so many people want wontons, why don't you prepare them? I'd advise guests staying here not to book the breakfast. If you walk about 300 meters to the right outside the hotel, you'll find plenty of breakfast shops.

The hotel is conveniently located near Nanluoguxiang and the sea, making it easy to get to various attractions quickly. You can also see the Drum Tower nearby, and there are many delicious food delivery options.
