Hotel Club Al Moggar

Me (42), my wife (38), daughter (15) and son (8) came from the UK for 7 nights on 01/04/2024. Been here for 48 hours and thought I'd a review now rather than wait till the end of our holiday because so far, so good and we are all happy. The hotel is situated right on the beachfront and very close to the oufella (mountain). We have previously stayed at the Iberostar and also the Allegro and in comparison, I would say this hotel is also very nice. The hotel itself is very spacious and very clean, staff are always cleaning in the morning and afternoon's. Today, without asking, our room was cleaned and beds made. We went for breakfast only as we like to get out and eat as well. Breakfast is from 7am to 10am. Cereal, fruit, bread, eggs to your liking as well as juices and coffee from vending machine. The food is very similar to other hotels and is ok for the price we paid. Dont expect 5* quality but the food is frwdh, warm and decent enough. The swimming pool area is large and very clean. The water wasn't warm but either the weather being quite hot the temperature of the pool wasn't a problem as my son and other kids spent hours having fun. I've seen young couples, elderly couples and families here and everyone seems to be happy, relaxed and chilled. I've not come across anyone who has had anything to complain about. The front main entrance is on the main road and the back entrance/exit leafs straight on to the promenade/beach area. Mcdonalds, KFC, pizza hut and various other local food outlets are a very short walk away. The staff here are very friendly and caring and make an effort to take time to talk to everyone and make everyone feel included. There are various activities during the day such as aqua aerobics, stretching, darts etc and in the evening there is karaoke and dancing etc. The rooms maybe look a little outdated but are clean with toiletries and towels provided. There are no hairdryers but there is a safe. An iron can be borrowed from reception via the tour guide but limited availability means you may not always get one straight away. Agadir is our preferred destination as the weather is pretty much guaranteed and the flight is only 4 hours from the uk and halal food is easily available. I would return only if it wasn't a case of trying other hotels but up till now I don't have anything negative to say. Oking and the other entertainment staff are very good. Big shout out and 5 stars for Oking who always made the effort to talk to us, make us feel involved in activities and made extra effort to make my son laugh and smile.

Beautiful hotel whit huge garden, everywhere is tidy, great and helpful staff. By the beach. Cleaning and fresh towels every day. We had huge room by the pool, number 118. Also you can book a trip with Noureddeine, very helpful man in the hotel. Highly recommended

Very nice hotel the rooms ain’t the best but the hotel itself is very good. It’s by the beach and there’s a lot to do everyone’s very friendly and nice. Me and my friend had a very good time at this hotel. Animation team are the best all very friendly and they get you involved in All the activity’s.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and I like it very much. The staff are really welcoming and do everything to make my stay a good. The hotel is by the beach and that makes the place perfect. And it is wonderful to go for a walk on the seafront both day and evening

We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. The gardens are beautiful and the hotel is kept spotless. As vegetarians we are often limited in food choices but there was at least one cooked option each evening as well as fresh pizza. The salad bar was really lovely very imaginative options. Good service from staff in dining room. Lots of cooked breakfast as well as toast and pastries. But the cereal choice was aimed at children and limited. No tea available only coffee in dining room. The room was spacious and bedding and towels changed frequently. There was entertainment each evening but it was not particularly varied, mainly dancing. We particularly liked the easy access to private beach area and proximity to the promenade restaurants and shops. The holiday rep was very helpful and we booked 3 trips all excellent.

For our first holiday since Covid, we found ourselves happily returning to Club Al Moggar. As inveterate travellers, it was a rare gap of time between our last stay in Agadir in 2019 that saw us basking in safe, secure hospitality with lovely landscaping at this venue. The staff, food, service and security were of the highest standard. Agadir has been the subject of mass investment by The King Of Morocco and, as a result, the 7 km Beach Promenade is an attraction that gives freedom and interest to the many and a gentle walk opportunity for the less mobile. The Marina is an easy walk along The Promenade and has lovely restaurants, bars, ZARA and other high-end shopping outlets and all safely guarded by Security. Street furniture, the construction of parks and bird sanctuaries means that Agadir is on the UP. Speaking of which, the recent addition of the cable car, an easy walk to the entrance from Club Al Moggar, is a gentle yet spectacular experience affording excellent views over the entire Agadir. A tourist centre at the top is near completion. The ground up there is a bit uneven so maybe not the best for those with mobility issues. Reasonable hotel costs, very helpful staff ( Khadija on Reception is a STAR) who always do their very best possible. A stay at Club Al Moggar is a welcome and relaxing experience that nobody would regret. Your first stay will not be your last.

Bathroom not cleaned regularly. Not enough towels. Staff sometimes rude esepcially when speaking in English as opposed to French. Breakfast was ok for the price. More of a 3 star than a 4 star hotel.

The hotel was amazing. We have stayed there once before but this time around it was much better. The staff at the hotel are the best! And the animation team was really good especially Hamza, Salah and Fati. They had so many activities for children and adults to do very enteraining! Once again special thanks to Hamza and Salah in the animation team they became our family!

What a brilliant hotel, breakfast was lovely , all staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The only down fall was the 2 flights (3 if u include the steps from the pool up to our room 302. Were are both physically disabled we found it struggle but persevered. Next time we visit we will request a ground floor while booking, overall 9/10 ! Xx
