Start with the positives. Restaurant staff ( Stella ) amazing . Such a lovely lady and nothing was a trouble. Bar staff bottom pool bar Poppie and Demetrius…. Wow, these two are a credit to the hotel. Worth their weight in gold!! Both work so hard. Cleaning staff all very nice people. Pool area’s are lovely and of course you do have amazing views. Drinks included in the all inclusive package we really couldn’t complain, cocktails very nice and all served with a smile. Food in the restaurant was okay, unfortunately breakfast was always cold. Even if you were in the restaurant early. Eggs fried, scrambled etc were always cold and rest of grilled food was the same. Lunch and dinner you did have a good choice but definitely not 5 star. Negative’s Reception staff - we arrived late at night on Friday 12 April and initially the greeting from lady was very pleasant . She sat us down and very quickly ran through a map of the resort. Then straight away continued to ask for a 70 euro payment for resort tax. Very quick to take this ! We were sent on away in a golf trolly to our room (216). The room looked completely different to what we had booked through Jet2. Very small, no living area. No private out door area. Toilet and shower very worn. Safety deposit box not working. We could hear the toilet in the room above us being flushed also a loud noise from the boiler room that was right nextdoor to us. We ended up walking back to reception ( as no number left on phone to say how to call reception) just what we needed after a long journey. Explained the problem to the same receptionist ( wish I had of taken down her name). The lady looked at us as if we were stupid , asked what room did we think we should have. I showed a picture of the booking confirmation which also included the description and photo of the room. Nothing like the one we were in!! I also continued to tell her about the noise from the boiler room and toilet from above . Her response was shocking , telling me to find her at 11am the following morning. No apology no empathy nothing! We went back to the room didn't unpack thinking we would be moved the following morning. Went back to reception as she requested at 11am , same lady on the desk with a mile long que of people checking in and out. Another member of the reception team came over and told us the hotel was completely full and if we had a problem to contact Jet2!! The rest of the resort staff are amazing but the reception team are something else. You would think they work for a different company. Awful experience with these guys. Wi-Fi - we found the connection terrible. The resort App- waste of time , not updated with incorrect information. No one answers you on Whats app. It’s number 9 for calling reception , if they don’t understand you when you call they hang up on you! Experienced this twice. Waited 2 days for the safety deposit box to be fixed. Again this was down to the unhelpful reception team, not telling us we ne
