What a great place for a weekend getaway in Nanjing. It is a short walk either way to Sanshanjie or Zhangfuyuan metro station, connecting you to Line 1 for Nanjing railway station or Nanjing South railway station. Confucius Temple is also within walking distance. The hotel is located within an upcoming area with lots of investment including new hotels, bars and restaurants. Nearby is also Finnegans Wake a great Irish bar managed by a foreigner. The staff were very friendly at the hotel and showed us to the room. The breakfast was good and because the hotel is small it was never too busy. Although some tourists come to see the hotel, this is well managed and the hotel still feels very quiet and private. If you want an authentic Chinese experience with lots of history this hotel is great. You are staying in a tourist attraction! I couldn't have asked for a better hotel and many of my foreign friends are interested in visiting now after posting photos on my wechat.
