Very lovely older small onsen. Japanese style room was lovely. Futon was a bit old, thin, and firm, far from my first but noticable. Make sure to book dinner, its a walk to other options. Onsen was lovely.

Quite a traditional hotel about 15 mins walk from the centre of town. Large public area where there is free WiFi ( not available in the bedrooms). Rooms are large and quaintly old fashioned. Everything is clean. We had room 306 with beds although there are futons available (would have preferred a futon but as only staying for one night this was unimportant). Traditional Japanese sweet and green tea in the room Shower pressure good and lots of hot water. Indoor and outdoor onsen albeit rather small. Dinner was beautifully presented in the second floor restaurant. En route several beautiful kimonos are on display. Breakfast, average fare and probably not the best we had experienced during our stay in Japan. Good fresh fruit though.

I thought it was a fairly old facility, but it seemed like it had been renovated, and the rooms and hot springs were comfortable. The only disappointing thing was that there was no Wi-Fi in the room these days. Although everything else was good, it was a big negative that Wi-Fi could only be used around the lobby.

I was able to get refills of miso soup and rice with my bento 🍱, but I couldn't bring coffee to my room in a paper cup.

It's neither good nor bad It was a typical Naruko inn. Is alcohol to blame for the coronavirus pandemic? Most of the menu is missing Wouldn't it be better to not provide it from the beginning?

I used JR, and it was very helpful that they arranged the time to pick me up from the station and drop me off at my convenience.

My family and I used it again this time. The most distinctive feature of this hotel is the hot springs, which have a unique oil-like scent.
