Quite a good stay and very easy to book - price was good on trip.com

This PI is well located close to the town centre and is just a 15 minute walk from the train station. Had not pre-booked but got a room without any trouble.. Excellent staff who did attend to two issues that arose. Plenty of towels, good housekeeping, nice toiletries, attentive staff. Extended our stay and took advantage of the £ 35 deal for nine nights. Would suggest it is time to cease the housekeeping on request and return to it being a default option. some hotels have a laundry room and that might be a good addition!

Great location and overall nice hotel, but can't turn thermostat down below 19 degrees, no air con & windows wont open - so can make for a stuffy, uncomfortable night! Bed was lovely though and so were the staff

The car park was small and full but they did allow us to park in a disabled bay. ( my wife has limited mobility but not bad enough for PIP or a blue badge) The room was small for three persons. There were only two towells. There was no yea/coffee in the room demanding a grip to reception at 0600. Why were we not told during our in person check in. The spare pillows were lumpy hard. We needed a place to stay so we could get to an early hospital appointment. This place was ok for that.

We got a really good rate for a two night stay. I was taking part in the Reading Half Marathon and the hotel is well placed for the train station where the shuttle bus collected us. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Very friendly staff and the receptionist was enthusiastic and keen to know how my race went which was thoughtful. Happily one of my better performances. Keen to stay here again.

Really comfortable stay, friendly and welcoming staff, very clean, good location for public transport

The Premier Inn in Reading was a fab place to stay, the team made us feel welcome from checking in to eating in the restaurant in the evening. The breakfast was excellent. We were cycling the King Alfred Way, and this is a great stopping point, starring our bikes in the room was awesome. It is really close to the night life/resturants, but we used the hotel resturant which was excellent with a good choice. The front desk staff really made this stay by making us feel so welcome.

The location is great if you want to be close to the city centre esp. the Oracle. Good value for money and decent rooms. The Wi-Fi could have been better (not great speeds and stability even with Ultimate Wi-Fi option), but was manageable.
