Kassandra Hotel

Very convenient located, 50m from a bus stop where is about half way between airport and Rhodes city. Polite and efficient reception. Room is spacious and reasonably clean with hot water for shower. Kitchen is well equipped. However there is no dish washup liquid provided so I could not clean my pots and dishes after cooking.

Great gyros plate in restaurant for under a tenner. Nice basic hotel. Lovely staff. Was late for breakfast and I had a delicious bruschetta with tomatoes, feta and olive oil for €3.60. There is something about those Mediterranean tomatoes. So all good in the hood As its early April a lot of the resort isnt open.

I can’t stop thinking of this wonderful family business hotel perfect location for bars restaurant shops beach I’m going back this year for sure. Food is lovely and freshly cooked everyday staff so lovely made you feel so welcome . It’s a 10/10 for me

Online accommodation appeared to ticked lots of boxes. However grossly overrated. Pools dirty. Room needed updating. Decor outdated and shower bath needed serious renovation. Couldn't sit out on balcony as bitten alive by mozzies. Too overgrown foliage. Also too overlooked by opposite balcony. Bar staff needs training on how to speak to customers. Some nice. Would not not entertain the idea of ever recommending or going back there.

I do not normally write reviews but felt compelled to give our experience. From the outside we were very pleased with the look of the hotel & we're greeted by a friendly receptionist. Our room was on the ground floor & on openening the door my heart sank.it was like being in a cave & sounded like it too.just a door & inside 1 window to the side for the whole appartment making it so dark even with the lights on,no balcony or sliding doors to make you feel like you were on holiday.even the 1 door could not be left open due to no mosquito screen on it.our neighbours all complained of multiple bites when they slept & so we never had the door open all our holiday.the bin in the kitchen was full to the top with our predecessors rubbish & a light bulb in the kitchen wasnt working, the bed was so hard & the walls so thin it was quite embarrassing to hear everything from our neighbours. We normally cook breakfast but the kitchen was poorly equipped with no toaster,fry pan & sufficient light to see. I could go on but feel that we were given the very worst rooms in the hotel.The evening entertainment which we rushed back to see never arrived,nor the one planned for in the week. We did not ear at the hotel but found some lovely restaurants around Ilalysos & rhode is just 20mins.away by bus or €15 by taxi..I feel very sorry to have to complain & I'm sure that given a better room it might have been a different review but in my families case this spoilt the whole holiday for us..We did not ask to move rooms as our son was moved due to a horrible smell in his room & was just moved around to the back of our apartment which was exactly the same without the smell. What a shame to put hardworking people in inferior rooms when the hotel was half empty & the other rooms were quite obviously empty.

We stayed for a week. For a hotel that says the staff is awsome, i have to disagree. All of them looks tired from a long season, are edgy and look annoyed when you ask anything. Pool area is full of algee and is super slippery and not safe for small kids. Do not order with breakfast, the plates/cups are dirty, the chairs are the same. And selection of food is very bad. The shop i 2 minute walk away. Buy food there and make your own food. Its better. The rooms are ok, but for one week they charge 63 euro for aircondition in your room. Wifi is also extra... Go somewhere else for holiday, if your not on a budget, than its ok at best.

Family run hotel, friendly staff and evening entertainment. Two pools lots of sun beds . Cater for all ages close to all amenities, public transport. The chap at bar George and crew always go extra mile . The receptionist always smiling and greet all with a smile 😊
