we booked one suit and one deluxe room for 4 adults and four kids at their second floor, and both the rooms were fabulous. room size too good. ambience, cleanliness, staff , food everything is just superb. toilets are clean and tidy and 24*7 hot water available with room heater. room service, additional mattress , clean towels and bedsheets and blankets- are some of the things which makes this place a must stay place in shillong.

Everything is good about this place. Locality and hospitality at its best. The car and the driver which the ***ager arranged for city tour was equally good. The hotel is well maintained, the staff is humble and polite.

It’s a great place to stay. Location is perfect, not in city center, but within walkable distance from city center. This place is very well maintained..Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by the Owner(Dhiraj). Vicky and other Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They helped in making a good itinerary and booked the local taxi and cab. Room was spacious and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again. Thank you Dhiraj for being a nice host.

Absolutely worth it! We only stayed at the pear tree for one night but wish we could have stayed longer! Even with one night the owner and staff made such an impression. The room is elegant (beautifully furnished) with original hardwood floors and a proper place for your luggage. We needed to arrange a driver to go to the airport, they booked us one right away. If you are coming to Shillong, this is the place to stay. The location is great, the people are incredibly friendly, and breakfast is provided. The taxi driver didn’t know how to get to it at first but the hotel staff happily got on the phone with the driver and we had no problems getting there after that. If you need any suggestions on where to go they also have great knowledge of the area and surrounding areas. We hope to come again.

This is a small boutique hotel located near Lady Hydari Park (walking distance). We stayed here in Month of May and our stay was more than we expected. Good ambience, good food and last but not the least the staff, praise worthy. There is a pear tree as you stepped out in the balcony and it really helps calms your senses. The room was big and spacious. They provide basic breakfast with limited options (bread butter, Poha) but it was all really delicious. They also offer dinner on request and trust me it was the best food we had in our entire journey. Since this is little far from Police bazaar , you will find it perfect place to unwind and enjoy the nature. Thank you Pear Tree for taking care of us.
