We bought a Universal Studios 1.5 Japanese pass, so after the first day of the movie city activity, take the tram from Universal Studios Station, and reverse to Sakurajima Station, about 3-5 minutes walk to the hotel. The next day, take the bus from Sakurajima Station to Universal Studios in the early morning. This will not squeeze the tram with a large group of tourists. 2. The hotel is close to Universal Studios, the location is remote, and the night is very quiet, but there is a convenience store next door and a simple kitchen, if you stay briefly, the function is OK. 3. The hotel check-in time is later (16:00), and it is not possible to check in early, and the check-out time is earlier (10:00), compared to the CP value is not very ideal. 4. The room is very small and there is no elevator. 5. The counter staff is not fluent in English.

If there is ice cream, I will have nothing to eat. shortcoming: I had to enter the park at 3 o'clock, and I arrived at 2:40, and there was no check-in. The front desk said that I had to wait until 3 o'clock, because it was written on it, so I waited. Later, a Japanese person arrived at 2:55 and asked for check-in😞. It doesn't matter if it's OK or not. Well, everyone who follows him checks in better than me. There is no water supply in the room, so you have to boil water yourself. However, there is a free ice machine at the front desk. You can only boil water and add ice. I only take out the trash and don't tidy the room. Laundry costs 400 yen. Pajamas are provided, but there is no hot spring. It is not suitable for this hotel at all. There is no wardrobe. Three sets of thick and useless pajamas have to be found by yourself. In fact, it is the same as toothpaste and toothbrushes. You have to go to the front desk to carry them first. Conclusion: You need to book the Universal Studios Station Hotel in advance. The price is actually not too expensive. If the price of this hotel is acceptable (less than $1500 a night), don’t miss it.

This hotel has a lot of advantages to the guests. First, its location is very near to the Universial Studio. The guest just takes 7 or 8 minutes to get there. Second, the room is relatively bigger than other hotels in Japan and the room is more suitable for the couples or the parents with 1or 2 children together to live in. Third, the hotel put some cartoon figures at the entrance or in the lobby, and people would find it so interesting to take pictures. Fourth, the hotel has many good facilities, like the supply of ice, water and locker, etc. That's why I think its service is so satisfactory.

We love this hotel, and it is very convenient if you are to visit Universal Studios Osaka, many restaurants and konbini nearby. Staff was helpful, we did our laundry, we sent a package, we were able to use the storage when we checked out early so we could go see one more shrine this mom wanted to see 🥰. You are basically a few steps away from JR, I kid you not! So if you want to go to other places it's not hard to move around. Have fun!!!

The location of the Hotel is right next to the USJ, so we could spend all our times in the Park instead of traveling. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the buffet breakfast offered variety of elections from oriental to western dishes. We also used room service for dinner and it was so seamless. Additionally, there is Capt Line ferry service right at the back of the Hotel, it travels to Osaka Aquarium, Lego Discovery Centre and Tempozan Giant Wheel within 10 mins each way. We highly recommend this Hotel if you are visiting USJ and other adjacent locations!

Place was superb, spacious room, conveniently located right in front of Sakurajima Station which is one stop to Universal City. Perfect for those who have a USJ trip. However all the great things here were dampened by the lack of iron provided by the hotel. Asked for iron from the time i checked in to the hours nearing check-out, and none available. When i requested to be notified whenever an iron became available, they simply said no. No further explanation was given to their refusal, and the staff seemed to struggle to communicate in English. I wouldn't have minded if this was a 2 or a 3-star hotel, but it was a 4-star hotel. The hospitality and communication were not up to par for a 4-star hotel, and the staff's limited English was not helpful to mend the situation. Walking around with wrinkled clothes was not really pleasing. Would choose a different 4-star hotel near to USJ in the future.

The hotel is less than 5 minutes walking distance to the gate of Universal Studio Japan. You can spot it once stepping out of the train station. There was a baggage room for guests before and after checking in/out of the hotel to store their shopping loot and luggage. It is very considerate for guests who are visiting the USJ for 2 consecutive and/or too tired after playing one whole day in it. There is also a bathtub in our room which we can have a hot bath/foot bath after walking around the park (or even standing queueing up for hours). Their front desk staff can communicate in English and Chinese. Very grateful for it!

We are a family of three. In my opinion, this was one of our favourite hotels where we had stayed in Japan. The room we stayed in was big and spacious. I personally love the bathroom as it separates the dry and wet area. The bed was comfy and big to sleep in. One of the things I felt good was that the wooden floor of our room made it easier for us to roll the luggage. We also enjoyed the television as it has a huge variety of shows. The location of the hotel was the best as it is close to the shopping mall and has a wide variety of food. If you want to go to Universal Studio Japan, Hotel Universal Port Vita would be a great hotel to stay in as it is only less than 10 minutes walk from Universal Studio Japan. The view from the room was fantastic too (see photo). There is even a convenience store at level 1. To top it off, the hotel receptionists and staff were friendly and polite. They even gave us minions keychains. I strongly recommend this hotel. This was indeed a good hotel to stay in!

The hotel is checked in on the second floor. There is no check-in machine at the front desk. It will give a gate password and bed number. Remember to take a photo. The kitchen of the public bathroom toilet seating area is on the third floor. The advantage is that you can cook. There are two large supermarkets nearby. Terrific accomodation in Osaka. Clean, spacious and relatively quiet. Apartments are very well set out and thoughtfully equipped. Love the washing machine and the heat room in the bathroom to dry clothing and towels. Nice touch that one of the beds can be closed off by sliding doors. Cooking equipment useful, especially to make simple meals like and egg or to heat up food in the microwave. Plenty of convenience stores nearby. Close to the train stations and once you get the hang of the complex set up at Osaka/ Umeda it’s relatively easy to get around. Only complaints are beds and pillows are a little hard but I think this is normal in Japan. Umeda is a thriving area. Lots of shops and restaurants close by.

We stayed with our family on a hot summer day. It opened on August 1, and the facilities were glittering. There was also a large bath and it was quite relaxing. The sauna was not done in corona countermeasures. I ate at dinner, breakfast and hotel restaurant, but both were quite high quality. Breakfast can be selected from 2 types. Osaka specialty? It consisted of two types of Western food sets and a lot of stuff. I thought it was Okonomiyaki from the morning? I thought, but my daughter was eating with peroli. It became a micro tourism from Hyogo, but I thought I would like to stay in the mood change even if there is a hotel that can be so relaxing in the vicinity.

Advantages: Newly renovated hotel, rooms above the 18th floor of the building can enjoy the night view. The hotel is located in the embassy district of Osaka, surrounded by the Swiss Consulate and the American Consulate. It is one subway station away from Umeda (but you have to walk a few hundred meters before and after), and there are three buses to Osaka Kansai Airport at the door of the hotel, which is very convenient. There is another open-air SPA on the 31st floor, which is quite chic. Disadvantages: The reservation system is confusing. I booked two adults and one child on Ctrip, and they asked to pay the difference for one child when checking in. We argued with them and showed them the Ctrip reservation. A responsible Japanese beauty found a young lady from Northeast China to coordinate. The first plan was for me to coordinate with Ctrip. I said, do you want me to make an international call to coordinate now? My reservation did not conceal the fact that I have a child. If you want to coordinate, you should go to Ctrip, why should I do it? I know that Japanese hotels charge per person. I did not conceal or deceive, and I am not responsible. Seeing that I spoke English all the time, the Japanese beauty compromised and did not charge extra. But it feels really bad, as if we are deliberately trying to get the wool. There are few breakfast options. Imagine people of all colors queuing for two miles to wait for a coffee machine. Can't they make several pots of coffee and pour them for the guests? Or just add another machine. The breakfast ends early, from 9:15 to 10 minutes, the breakfast counter will be removed. Doesn't it say 10 o'clock on the meal ticket? Is this the standard of Japanese service? I don't understand. There are also non-Japanese service staff. They look like South Asians. Their English is not very good. I asked him to add a quilt, but he didn't understand quilt and duvet. In the end, he gave me a blanket. I was really embarrassed. Some Japanese front desk staff are not very friendly to Chinese people, but they are very enthusiastic to Koreans. I heard that there are many Koreans in Osaka, and I can't tell whether I met her fellow countrymen. The room cleaning is weird. If the guests don't specifically ask for a comprehensive cleaning of the room, it is basically not cleaned. They only change towels and add bottled water. Summary: It is more suitable for young couples to travel, and you can enjoy the Sky Spa. It is not suitable for families with children. The hotel reservation system is not well connected with China. If you want to earn money from Chinese people, you should show some serious service awareness. Otherwise, just honestly collect money from Koreans. That's all!

Love this rustic, quaint hotel. A nice stroll from a Yodoyabashi train station. Hotel staff was warm, friendly and considerate. Room was a tad small to open up both our luggages at the same time but that’s generally most hotels in Japan. The comfy bed and amazing breakfast made up for that. Nice little touch of microwaves and vending machines on selected levels. Might have found my favourite hotel in Osaka now. Would stay there again for sure.

Overall quite ok to stay here. But the bath towel has some smell although they changed towel daily. Check in and check out by using robot is easier and faster. The hotel was actually okay. The rooms were small as you know from Japan. All was clean. The rooms were cleaned if you wanted this with a sign at the door. Unfortunately, there was no way in the bathroom to hang up the towels. I would never book this hotel again and can only warn you. We were already scared at the station Dobutsun-Mae from dirty crops. Shin-Imamiya was as terrible as it was. The hotel is located in Japan's largest arms district. For several days the same homeless sat at the entrance of the hotel. We also climbed over unconscious men on the light day. In the darkness we would never have left the hotel. We don't know something like this from Japan. Right dead smack next to Shinsaibachi for the shopping and Dotonburi for delicious food. The hotel is very new and can easily be found by the shrine on the first floor. There is also a lot of construction going on the hotel street so arriving to the hotel can be tricky to navigate especially since it's generally a crowded area. The facilities is amazing and the TV provides live statuses to the laundry and onsen. The onsen is separated by sex and has an indoor and outdoor one. There is also a small, cold outdoor pool right next to the warm bath. Overall an easy choice to come back! Glad to have picked this place!

My wife and I each had a room as we were traveling with friends. As Diamond, one of the rooms was upgraded to a huge suite, and the other to a castle view. The front desk and lounge staff were both extremely helpful. Every request was attended to promptly and with a positive attitude. Hotel is easy walking distance from a subway line. The lounge offerings are good, and the views up there are great. We loved hanging out there after our day as it was quite hot outside. Would definitely stay again as it is a good value.

I am a frequent traveller and highly spoiled normally staying in Four Seasons but on Tripadvisor i noticed this hotel and the super reviews and looking at prices it was interesting to try and happy I did! Quick review: -top housekeeping, big compliment for this team -super clean rooms -spacious room with huge balcony and this is a huge bonus to the room also the amazing view -very silent rooms, no noise from other rooms, alley or street -very complete room with everything you need -great bed! -friendly staff although English is not very good and surprised me especially in reception Location is the keyword, I walked around a lot and found this hotel is superb to visit Osaka, everything important within walking distance. Some minor points I think the hotel should improve: -concierge service and English language i really missed -slippery bathtub, improvement needed as they don’t have a seperate shower, very dangerous so input a towel in the tub. -there is no bar! I can highly recommend this fine hotel and would return without any doubt. To be improved in my view: - bathtub is too slippery and dangerous so needs improvement - language skills of reception is poor and concierge service would be good to have -there is no bar but they have a great outdoor terrace so use it for drinks!

The room is very large and spacious, the kitchen is fully equipped, induction cooker, dishes, dumplings, refrigerators, washing machines, and more intimately prepared washing powder! The bathroom also has a bathtub! Except for the false eyelashes on the floor on the sink, the bathroom smells bad! Everything else is very good, it is a great suite! Just five minutes walk from the Black Gate Market! If you come to Osaka, you can refer to this one, big push!

The location is relatively convenient. It's convenient to take the subway, go shopping, and go anywhere. The room is quite big. If you arrive early, it's very convenient to store your luggage at the front desk. The service attitude at the front desk is also very kind.
