Venus von Willendorf - Fundstätte

Venus of Willendorf The site was discovered in 1908 and is a stone age female figurine. Visitors can also see some ancient sites that were dug up at the same time, learn about people's thoughts and history.

Compared with the starting point of Merk Town at the other end of the Wahoo Valley, the town of Crems is much cleaner. Many tourists are directly folded back to Merk Town by boat. Only a few do not go back. Disembark in the town and take the old car with a sense of age to the train station.

The statue has an enlarged stomach and breasts, its pubic area is greatly emphasized, probably serving as a representative of procreativity, and the red ochre pigment covering it has been thought to symbolize or serve as menstrual blood seen as a life giving agent.
