On the road between Mut and Karaman Alahan Monastery is an easy drive from Mersin. The roads are good (dual carriageway a lot of the time) with more roadwork to improve conditions currently underway....

This place has a world heritage status. It is under restoration but still very beautiful. It is a 10 minutes drive from the highway.
