While only day for a few days...
Met many potential business contacts as well as friends. Drove around the city,July is winter in the southern hemisphere - generally ok during the day, sweater needed early morning and nights.
A beautiful stadium that hosts the games of the biggest team in the city. Around the stadium there is a club with swimming pools, sports courts and bars.
The city has two football teams and this is the stadium of one of them.. it is pretty old because this team has no money today, but is nice to go there... be ready to see a caos on football strategy.
Previously (2010), when I visited on a business trip, I visited the authentic Brazil soccer game on a holiday. I asked a local resident to buy a ticket, but if I can't speak, I think it's very difficult to buy a ticket. Between the pitch and the audience seats, there was a deep groove (the groove part is the audience passage), so that the audience could not easily get out of the pitch. I think it's a soccer stadium, but there was a considerable distance between the back of the goal and the audience. (Shape is Athletics ...
