Zhennan Culture Art Museum

Yanjia Huatingju is located at No. 47 and 48 on the south side of Anmin Lane. It was announced as a cultural relics protection unit in Fujian Province in 2005. It is now the Zhennan Culture and Art Museum. The museum displays a series of furniture made of Jinsinan ancient sinking wood. Built in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, it was originally the "Yan's Taicheng Ancestral Hall". Zou Keming, a returned overseas Chinese merchant during the Republic of China, rebuilt it twice. The former residence faces north and is surrounded by walls, covering an area of 1425 square meters. The large patio in the gate is connected to the corridors on three sides. The front hall adopts a bucket-type wooden frame. The 28 wooden pillars and floor slabs in the hall are made of extra-large materials. Although some of the vertical columns in the hallway are incomplete, from the two hanging bells, it can be seen that the original components have rich patterns and fine workmanship. On the front porch of the main hall, there is a small door leading to the flower hall in the west courtyard. Once you enter the large flower hall, it is the essence. The living room is made of nanmu wood, and the floor-to-ceiling doors are carved, which is especially magnificent. There is a small hall in front of the house, decorated with partitions with flower windows, the front of the hall is decorated with a roll shed, and the hanging bells and sparrows are engraved with flowers and fruits, which are unique in shape. A pair of large column bases in front of Xuan Gallery are made of bluestone, and bats are carved in four directions. The stone patio under the corridor is flat, and the west wall is equipped with two-story stone flower stands for flower pots. A hundred-year-old peach tree is planted on the west side of the patio, just like a large bonsai. There is a wooden half-side pavilion in the east corner, small and exquisite, with three small flower basket-shaped hanging bells with delicate patterns.
