Tanjung Piai, the Southernmost Point of Asia
We visited Tanjung Piai National Park, an interesting park consisting of coastal mangroves and inter-tidal mudflats. Mudflats are soft and muddy soil where creatures such as crabs, mud skippers, cockles and lizards thrive. This park was approved by the Johor State Government as Johor National Park.

Tanjung Piai is a cape in Pontian District, Johor, Malaysia. It is the southernmost point of Peninsular Malaysia and thus the most southern point of mainland Eurasia. The skyline of Singapore is visible across the Johor Strait from the point. It features seafood restaurants, perched on wooden jetties that are surrounded by a rugged and rarefied coastline of unspoiled mangrove forests.
Tanjung piai In fact, it is the southernmost point of the Asian mainland. Mangrove exploration and the southernmost landmarks of the Asian mainland are all popular check-in points. There is no Malaysia signal here, and occasionally Singapore signal and Indonesia signal are received, because this is the sea outlet of the Strait of Malacca. So you can see a lot of big cargo ships.
Tanjung Piai National Park It is a scenic spot worth visiting, close to nature, climbing the mountain and hiking are refreshing! Malaysia's green area is very high, it is worth visiting

The Tanjung Piai National Park area which is 1 hour 20 minutes drive from JB is usually not a popular place for families. Those who come here are usually school, university or government groups who want to see this mangrove swamp area to increase their knowledge. The Tanjung Piai area gazetted as a National Park is over 900 hectares in size.
I love being in the mangroves area as there are many hidden insects and wild life....i had the opportunity to volunteer planting the mangroves trees for a mangroves tree planting initiative at the muddy shores....I hope the trees grew well...
Great place to look at these amazing trees, need to walk about 500 m to get to the southernmost tip of mainland asia
