A fine resting and meeting spot
Near the Yubatake, this covered walkway and performance space is a convenient rest stop. If you are caught in the rain, as we were, this is an excellent place to wait out the storm. Locals and to...
Wooden roofed walkway/pathway or corridor sort located near an elevated concrete open space for events. Leads to another part of an under construction hotel and nearby walled public toilet.
For the "hata" of Yubata, it was an image of tanada and became Dan 々

Yuji Square is a square on the south side of Yubatake in the center of Kusatsu's hot spring town. Yuji Square is a Dan 々 with the image of terraced rice fields compared to Yubatake's "Hata". A Japanese-style corridor surrounds the square that continues to be 々. It's a place where you can wear a yukata and take a walk at night.
It was on the way from Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal to Yubatake. There is no strangeness in design. It is an ordinary square. However, when there is an event, it seems to be crowded with many hot spring guests.
Looking at it from the bus terminal in Kusatsu, it is a plaza in front of Yubatake. When I visited, Christmas decorations were just being prepared. There is a Yubatake nearby, so it's a place where you can miss it a little (it's in the field of vision but not strongly conscious).
