It's a "Sanshichiyama Observatory" overlooking "Mt. Hyotan".
It's a "Sanshichiyama Observatory" overlooking "Mt. Hyotan". In 1962 (Showa 37), a crack eruption occurred on the mountainside connecting the summit of Mt. Oyama and Akaba Akaba, and it is said that it is a fountain hill made by piling up a large amount of fountains. By the way, the reason why it was called "Sanshichiyama" seems to be from 37 in 1962, the year of the eruption.
Crater by the sea
I went to August 2018. It is an eruption made by an old eruption along the Miyakejima roundabout road. You can also see Mt. Hyotan in the immediate vicinity. Even though it is an observatory, it is a place where you can see Mt. Sanshichi in the distance from the parking space along the road.
Miyakejima is a volcano museum.
It was made by an eruption in 1957, so it is Mt. Sanshichi. In front of you, you can see Mt. Hyotan, which was built in 1945. The view is good and it is a pleasant place, but considering that an eruption occurs every 20 years, I understand the hearts of the islanders.
