Naoshima Public Bath I Love Yu

This was the third day of our art delegation to the Seto Inner Triennale and after a long day of hiking, we decided to visit this famous attraction. The design of the entire public bath is full of details, and not only local residents but foreigners love it. Highly recommend going to this public bath when traveling in Naoshima. It is very clean and bright, and bath accessories are prepared. Like all over Naoshima, the bathhouse is also full of Japanese meticulous bathhouse culture and art. Very neat and pleasant. Remember to bring your own towel!

This Naoshima Qiantang is a public bathing place for locals to use daily, but its name is interesting. "Soup" (ゆ) in Japanese is pronounced U in English, so the homonym is I LOVE U. Approaching here immediately shows that it is different. Various colorful neon lights, collage tiles, sky-high decoration... traditional and modern integration inexplicable, and very fun. In fact, it is a work by Japanese artist Dazhu Shin-lang. Not only the appearance, but also the interior mosaic walls, toilets, dressing rooms, and even the bottom of the bath sink have many designs. You can also buy the surrounding area directly at the front desk without taking a bath. Bath towels are recommended, as long as 310 yen (may be price increase now), there are a variety of colors to choose from, and the quality is good. Shampoo, soap, towels, etc. need to be brought by yourself for bathing. You can buy it at the front desk if you need it.
