A historic temple in Onsen Tsu
A relatively large temple on the way from Onsentsu Station to Onsentsu's hot spring town. The gate is black Shishu tiles, and the main hall is red copper Shishu tiles, making it an old wooden temple. According to the explanation board in front of the gate, it was founded in 1574 in the 2nd year of Tensho. It is a temple of the Jodo sect, and the principal image is Amida Nyorai. There is an episode that only the back of the ceiling was burnt during the fire in the main hall.
