Yukio A
A literary monument of writers representing proletarian literature related to Otaru
Original Text
All I know about Takiji Kobayashi is that he was from Takasho Otaru, the author of "Crab Kofune", and was arrested and tortured by the police and died. I didn't know that there was a literary monument at the Asahi Observatory. When I saw the literary monument, I thought that Takiji's head was the head of a young worker, and the portrait relief of Takiji was on the upper right. I was convinced by reading the explanation that the whole was in the shape of a book spread.
