We were happy to walk into this small museum on our first trip to Tahiti. It was free. It was self-guided with exhibitions and two short films. It was in an air-conditioned building we found on a hot afternoon! This is helpful for the history of pearl diving and pearl farming. We were welcomed and welcomed by the museum without any pressure to buy. This actually helped stimulate our appetite for more information, so we plan to visit a pearl farm in Raiatea!
