"Oyster" flower asks "house" --- Xunpu Village in Quanzhou
Xunpu Village, during the Ming Dynasty, was called Qianpu because it was located in front of Houpu. Because it is backed by mountains and facing the sea, the villagers mainly rely on fishing and oysters for their livelihoods, and it is rich in oysters, so it is called Xunpu.
Xunpu became popular because of Zhao Liying's "Xunpu woman" costume, and it also brought Xunpu into the public's sight. Going to Xunpu is more about exploring and experiencing the local traditional folk culture.
Take the L1 bus from Quanzhou Ancient City to Xunpu Vegetable Market Station. When a large stone with the word Xunpu appears in front of you, the journey of exploration begins.
"Big skirt, belly cover, head flower, wide-leg pants", the standard outfit of Xunpu women. Xunpu woman is the biggest feature of Xunpu Village. And the "head flower" is the biggest feature of Xunpu women. The "head flower" is composed of two parts: the bun at the back of the head, and the flower decoration made of fresh flowers centered on the bun. The focus of the bun lies in the ivory chopsticks that play a fixed role (some will also insert a red chopstick), which is the original intention of the ancient custom of "bone needle safety hair". The focus of the flower decoration lies in the flower ring made of fresh flowers such as jasmine, gardenia, magnolia, and laughing. The fresh flowers on the flower ring will slowly bloom during the wearing process, exuding the unique beauty and charm of Xunpu women. Finally, some more colorful silk flowers or plastic flowers are inserted on the edge of the flower ring, which is as colorful as a mini garden, and with women walking around the street, the whole street suddenly becomes a scene of blooming flowers, full of vitality. Most tourists only focus on the "head flower" dress, and the clothes are basically white shirts with horse-face skirts, and occasionally there are photos taken in Hanfu. The location for taking pictures is one is Shunji Palace, and the other is Oyster Shell House.
The Oyster Shell House is another feature of Xunpu. House, Minnan dialect means house. Oyster shell, is the shell of oysters. Therefore, the Oyster Shell House is also called "Oyster House", which is a house with oyster shells as the wall. It is said that such a wall is warm in winter and cool in summer, and can withstand the erosion of sea breeze. After years of wind and rain, under the sun, from a distance, the wall is like shining fish scales, which is particularly bright. I have also seen such old houses with this kind of wall on Dongshan Island, which is more vicissitudes of life compared with Xunpu.
Come to Xunpu, "oyster" a traditional custom, experience a unique style. In Xunpu, see a kind of blooming flowers, experience a breath of spring.
𫊻 One of the characteristics of Pu Village is the shell. But most of the shells are newly built, that is, a layer of sea shells is pasted outside the cement wall. Purely to cater to tourists. The real shells are only left with broken walls.
The characteristic old houses in Quanzhou Lipu Fishing Village, red bricks, stones, seagull shells are the main building materials, especially the use of seagull shells (crust shells) is more special. This shell was previously the ballast stone of fishing boats. It was shipped back from overseas, and it was used more. The old house is basically unoccupied, and there is no excessive tourism development at present.
Remember to see it in a tourist film, so I am especially yearning. At present, there are not many people who come from a niche. The navigation failure is always around the circle, and when I am soaked and a little depressed, I suddenly turn back around the corner. Southern Wei style, a place that must be felt!
In 𫊻 Pu Fishing Village, there are southern Anhui houses built with seagull shells. It is warm in winter and cool in summer. It has a different beauty. It is very popular with the 𫊻 Pu Woman's Nianhuawei.
Most houses are on this wall and smell like fish
