The West Tower, also known as the West Tower Temple, is located in the old street of Yuzhen, Taicang City, Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. The original site was the Great Temple of the Ming Dynasty, and it was destroyed in a fire. During the Qing Qianlong period, the people raised funds to rebuild, and the back hall was built in the early years of Qingdao light for Li Wang Bodhisattva. Daoguang 30 years (1850) built the West Tower, built before and after two temples, the west side of the ear room, renamed the West Tower Temple. The west tower is six and five floors, brick and wood structure, moth angle, gourd-shaped top, flat rise, antique, each side of the tower is wide 2.25 meters, circumference 1.35 meters, area about 30 square meters, tower height 15.5 meters, edge ladder can be climbed on the top floor, overlooked by the railing, and the beautiful scenery of the riverside. It is currently the best tourist attraction in the area.
