這裡是台中市民白天經常遛狗的地方，常常一到下午就會看到一堆毛小孩們在這邊散步，晚上到假日就會有街頭藝人唱歌，是約會的勝地，到爵士音樂節這裡更是熱鬧的地方
没到周末，这里就会聚集各种街头福利，驻唱的人群以及各种文艺表演，还会为市民准备饮料与作为，太阳很大的话，还会贴心的准备棚子等遮阳。
是一條長長綠園道，一邊可以連接到美術館，另一邊可以去勤美。假日很多人在這散步。
台中是難得的一大片可以遛狗的地方，但記得要把狗臉鏈好，很討厭沒有弄好的飼主！
