Taizhouxiangyan Temple

Xiangyan Temple, was abolished during the years of Huichang. Northern Song Dazhong Xiang Fuxing, Qing Qianlong 28 years (1763) Ting Nian Master rebuilt, the existing temple was built for Qing Xianfeng 11 years (1861). Xiangyan Temple is now built with more than 50 rooms such as the Temple of Heavenly Kings, Daxiong Palace, Jade Buddha Palace, and boudoir.

The tour guide said that Jianzhen's fourth Dongdu rate of students more than 20 stayed in the temple for more than 10 days, and then due to the official hall, he blocked his return to Yangzhou. Until now, Japan has kept the "Jianzhen Monk Du Nikkei Road Map", which is great.

Xiangyan Temple is located in Baifengjing Village, Fengjiang Town, Luqiao District, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province. Xiangyan Temple sits north and south, with lush fruit trees inside and outside the temple, green bamboo forests, streams and quiet scenery. It is recorded that when Master Jianzhen visited Japan four times, he led more than 30 disciples to stay at this temple and lectured for more than ten days. There are more than 50 rooms in Xiangyan Temple, Daxiong Temple, Jade Buddha Temple, and Yufang. Friends who are interested in Xiangyan Temple can come here to see it. Taizhou Xiangyan Temple is dotted with many places of interest and monuments. There is a well on the east side of it. It is said that a roll of cotton silk cannot be put to the end. It is called a cotton silk well. There is a reservoir on the north side, the water is blue, and the water waves are rippling. It is called a natural bath. In the northeast corner, there is a cave. It is legendary that in the early days, the East China Sea female demons were in the sea and made waves. After arriving at this cave, they changed their ways and made good for the people. Therefore, they were called daffodils cave. Near Xiangyan Temple, there are more than 10 scenic spots such as Dongguan Temple, Jingfeng Temple, Wukong Pavilion, Guanyin Pavilion and Jiuqu Bridge.

Soon after the first construction of the Chanlin Temple, Tianbao four years (745), Tang Gaoseng Jianzhen monk began the fourth Dongdu, led more than 20 disciples to stay in the temple, said more than 10 days, to Xiangyan Temple added a glorious one. Twenty years after the opening of the Tang Dynasty (732), Japanese monks Rongxu invited the high monk Jianzhen of Daming Temple in Yangzhou, China, and Jianzhen readily accepted it. But the sea wind and waves were dangerous, and the first three Dongdus failed. Tang Tianbao four years (745) Jianzhen prepared for the fourth Dongdu, this time first lived in the Tiantai Guoqing Temple for 3 days, then entered Huangyan through the sea to live in the county 40 miles of the Chanlin Temple (i.e., Jinxiangyan Temple).
