Being in the second deepest depression point, the temperature itself is referred as the Turpan depression here. Turpan is "the" hottest place in China and it derived it's name from the Turpan volcano which once flowed here a long ago. As we started to thinking about the Xinjiang expedition, the first place came to my mind is Turpan. Although back in home was also hot, even I couldn't bear this heat. Also in the history of China, this land has been ruled by many kingdoms and it has seen so many wars.
