Wen County Tianchi scenic area is located at the foot of Xionghuang Mountain, the source of Yangtang River in Tianchi Township, Wen County, at longitude 104°44'40" and latitude 33°15'15". It is 85 kilometers northwest of the county seat and 164 kilometers from Jiuzhaigou scenic area. The lake surface is at an altitude of 1728 meters, with a water area of 0.88 square kilometers, about 40 Chinese miles in circumference, and the deepest part of the water is 75 meters. It is a high mountain barrier lake and a famous scenic spot on the golden tourist route from Lanzhou to Jiuzhaigou. The Wen County Tianchi scenic area consists of attractions (spots) such as the Drinking Horse Pool, Fairy Pool, Bonsai Pool, Tianwei Mountain, Tianmen Mountain, Tianmen Grand Canyon, Tianmen Mountain Waterfall, Wolong Ping, Shuguang Ping, Qishi Beach, and Guanyin Cliff. The total area of the scenic area reaches 150 square kilometers. The Tianchi scenic area is low in the southeast and high in the northwest. The lowest altitude at the entrance of the scenic area, Yangtangzhai, is 1233 meters, and the highest altitude of Xionghuang Mountain is 4187 meters. It belongs to a typical subtropical to north warm temperate transition zone with a vertical climate. The area has complex and unique topography and geomorphology, a wide variety of biological species, rich animal and plant resources, and numerous seismic geological relics, forming a natural wonder with ever-changing scenery and different skies every ten miles. Wen County Tianchi scenic area is a unique high mountain lake in Gansu Province, famous for its animal and plant resources, geological and seismic relics, and the ethnic minority customs of the Baima people. In 1993, the Bikou Tea Garden in Longnan, Wen County, Gansu Province, located in the southern part of the Western Qinling Mountains, within the Giant Panda National Park, has a humid climate and produces more than a dozen types of tea including Longjing 43 and Golden Bud. Here, amidst the misty clouds, it's a great pleasure to enjoy tea and leisure for two days. In the cool summer, you can stay for a few more days! Wen County Tianchi, also known as Yangtang Tianchi and formerly known as 'Tianwei Qiu', is located on the upper reaches of the Yangtang River, a tributary of the Bailong River, which is a tributary of the Jialing River in Wen County, Gansu. It belongs to the Min Mountains, with Jiuzhaigou on the west side of the Gonggang Ridge of the Min Mountains, and Tianchi on the east side of Tianwei Mountain. Recently, the water level in Jiuzhaigou has shrunk, and the Colorful Pond is almost becoming a Colorful Pond. However, Tianchi has more and bluer water and is still very worth visiting. The place is a bit remote. (Special preferential policies must be mentioned here, that is, if you have accommodation records in Tianshui Maiji District and Longnan City, you can get free admission! Directly drive to the destination Longnan City, planning to arrive around 12:30 at night. There are not many cars along the way, the highway is very good to drive, and after reaching Longnan City, stayed in a city hotel for one night, with accommodation costs about 100 to 150 per person like in a Ji Hotel. Early in the morning, I strolled around Longnan City and had breakfast. This place is famous for its Sichuan peppercorns, and the food prices are also very low. A steamed bun as big as my face only costs one yuan, and buns only 1.5 yuan, a serving of hot rice noodles is 4 yuan. The biggest difference from Hanzhong hot rice noodles is that the rice noodles here have a strong flavor of Sichuan peppercorns, and there are shredded potatoes as a side dish, which is delicious! After the meal, directly navigate to Wen County Tianchi, it takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the entrance of the scenic area. You need to park at the main entrance, buy tickets for the entrance and the scenic shuttle bus, 30 yuan each, 60 yuan for an adult including both the entrance ticket and the bus ticket. It takes about 10 minutes to drive up the mountain to reach the hiking entrance, and about 10 minutes of walking to reach the edge of Tianchi. When we went there, the weather was a bit overcast, and the color of Tianchi was darker, but it's really rare to have such a beautiful scene on this barren land. I thought Jiuzhaigou was beautiful until I went to Wen County Tianchi! It is said that 'In heaven is the Queen Mother's Yaochi, on earth is Wen County's Tianchi,' located in Wen County, Longnan, Gansu, the Tianchi is like a "sapphire" nestled between towering mountains, with green trees and the azure lake water reflecting each other, walking in the scenery, as if traveling in a painting. The Tiantang Scenic Area in Wen County, Longnan Is this really Gansu? How can Gansu have such scenery? Wen County Tianchi is a famous high mountain lake in China, one of the four major Tianchi in China. The Tianchi is a pool of clear water, with blue waves rippling. At a height of 1728 meters, the Minshan Mountains hold up this huge mirror to reflect the vast snow-capped mountains, dangerous cliffs, and the flowing clouds in the sky. The average depth of this pool is 97 meters, with a water area of 25,000 square kilometers. Tianchi is shaped like a casually carved jade gourd, with many small hills extending their chair corners into the water, forming the nine twists and eighteen bends of Tianchi. Elephant Beak Stone, Lion Peak, Fairy Stone, Old Mother Cliff, Erlang God Mountain Peak resemble humans and objects, arranged in a transparent line on the shore. The mist and dew on the edge of Tianchi water marry their beautiful legends floating in the tile hydrogen, Tianchi is holy and quiet, with lush trees on the edge of the pool.
