Zhoudawen Former Residence

This is the only free red tourist attraction in the ancient town. The former residence of Comrade Zhou Dawen, an early member of the Communist Party of China. Zhou Dawen's former residence is near Heping Street in Zhenyuan Ancient City. You can see an ancient building of Ming and Qing Dynasties when you walk in the alley. Zhenyuan is called Zhou Mansion, and it is the old site of the Zhenyuan Branch of the Communist Party of China. It is very close to Heping Village. It is the red tourist scene of Zhenyuan.

周达文故居亦称周公馆。也是中共镇远支部旧址。原系周达文祖父周炳元于光绪初年建。占地1250米，为黔东南两进四合院古民居。前厅大门挂有伍修权同志书写的周达文故居牌匾。还展出了斯大林写给周达文的信件。拿身份证免费参观。

周达文故居在镇上一小巷内，也是中共镇远地下支部旧址。故居是一座四合院，四周为高大的风火墙（估计是老宅防山贼修的），前厅大门挂有伍修权书写的"周达文故居"金字匾。正堂中央安放着周达文大理石塑像。可惜的是年轻志士没有死在敌人的枪口下，却冤死在"十月革命的故乡"。
