We were very disappointed with several aspects of this hotel. I’ll start with the NEGATIVES (positive will be below): According to the hotel’s description, it opened in 2020, so we expected a relatively new, modern and well-maintained property. Unfortunately, the reality was very different!!! ① The bathroom was particularly disappointing. The electrical outlets were installed at an angle, making it very difficult or sometimes impossible to plug anything in. The shower area was dirty and worn, looking more like it was 20 years old rather than six. The shower head sprayed water in different directions, including directly into your face. ② The shampoo and shower gel dispensers were poorly secured, and some did not work at all. We had to unscrew the bottles and pour the shampoo directly onto our hands. ③ The room itself was also poorly maintained. The floor had many sticky marks and stains, while the walls were heavily scuffed and damaged in several places. I understand that this is a popular hotel and naturally experiences a lot of wear and tear. However, for a property presenting itself as a five-star hotel, this level of cleanliness and maintenance is very disappointing. In its current condition, it feels much closer to an older three-star hotel. If you are considering staying here, I would strongly recommend keeping your expectations low and not relying too heavily on the promotional photos and advertising. The actual condition of the rooms was very different from what we expected based on how the hotel presents itself online. On the POSITIVE side, the beds were comfortable and the bed linen was clean and fresh, which we appreciated. We also really enjoyed the breakfast with the giraffes. If you want to get the best experience and be among the first guests, you need to start queuing from around 5:50 a.m. The giraffes are adorable and come up to each table, which made the experience very special and was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. *I will not add photos of the beds and giraffes because hotel and other guests have all of them, but I prefer to add photos with real problems.

I'm so glad I chose the Intercontinental Qiandao Lake, Shilin for this stay. Our two-day hotel trip perfectly met the vacation needs of my entire family, from the youngest to the oldest. The hotel's location and environment are superb. Although it's a bit far from the high-speed rail station, its exclusive spot on the Xianshan Peninsula allowed us to avoid the holiday crowds and enjoy a quiet vacation. We ate all our meals at the hotel for two consecutive days. The Chinese restaurant's flavors were unexpectedly delicious, and the breakfast quality at the all-day Western restaurant was also very high. Ordering noodles and coffee by scanning a QR code was a very thoughtful touch. During our meals, staff members even came to ask about our dining experience and handed out small gifts, making for a great interactive experience. The hotel offers a rich schedule of activities throughout the day, including hiking, sound therapy, and lake tours, so there's never a dull moment. Our butler, Jolie, provided attentive and thoughtful service. She patiently answered all our questions and requests, making it the best service I've ever received at a hotel. Finally, I've included a few photos taken at the hotel to show just how wonderful the environment is.

Wucheng Four Seasons Yijing Hotel (Yongsheng Shopping Plaza Branch) 9.1 The hotel package price was very affordable, so I saw a lot of senior tour groups. It's located near a residential area, and attractions like Guzicheng require a drive. There are many restaurants nearby. Pets stay free. However, Yongsheng Shopping Plaza is still about a 30-minute walk away. Location: Generally, it's near a residential area and a bit far from attractions (-0.7). Navigation was clear, and there's a convenient parking lot within the hotel grounds. Hygiene: The bedding was clean, and the floors were tidy. They also offer to clean the room after you've woken up, which is quite thoughtful. Service: The hotel front desk staff were very diligent. During check-in, they followed a standardized script and sent a detailed page of information via WeChat, including breakfast and Wi-Fi details. Their response time during my stay was also very fast. It would be even better if they could check reservation notes during check-in to provide the appropriate room type. However, the most annoying part of the service was receiving daily WeChat messages pressuring guests for 5-star reviews (-0.5). Facilities: They have smart home features and well-equipped energy-saving devices, as well as accessible facilities. However, the smart toilet only had an automatic flush function (-0.2). Also, there were no screens on the windows, so opening them for ventilation could let in mosquitoes and other insects (-0.3). Comfort: It has a budget hotel design. The room was a bit compact but generally clean. The soundproofing was a bit lacking (-0.2). Dining: Breakfast is provided, including a noodle station. They also offer a great late-night snack service. Bonus points: Late check-out available (+0.5). No room upgrade. Laundry room available (+0.5). Late-night snack service available (+0.5). Minus points: People occasionally smoked in the ground floor lobby and were not stopped (-0.5).

A true hidden gem in Anji, the Anji Treasure Island Nautical Resort feels like stepping aboard a luxury liner that has quietly anchored itself in a world of bamboo forests and still, reflective waters. The entire resort is designed in the unmistakable shape and spirit of a ship, complete with maritime detailing, porthole-style windows, brass accents, and cabin-inspired interiors that make every room feel like a private suite at sea. From the moment you arrive, you are surrounded by tropical-style gardens and serene lagoons where ducks glide across the water and fish move like living brushstrokes beneath the surface. It is calm, immersive, and almost dreamlike. The service is simply outstanding — attentive, warm, and effortless. Nothing feels forced; everything feels considered. Breakfast is sumptuous and generous, with a spread that feels worthy of a grand voyage rather than a countryside resort. Every detail is elevated. The rooms are extraordinary — sleeping here genuinely feels like being inside a luxury cabin on an ocean liner, yet with the comfort, silence, and space of a high-end retreat. What makes this place unforgettable is its setting: tranquil and secluded, yet perfectly positioned to explore everything Anji has to offer. You feel away from the world, but never far from it. To stay here is to experience something rare — a place that doesn’t try to impress, yet quietly outshines everything around it. Many nearby hotels feel conventional by comparison; this one feels imagined, designed, and delivered with vision. 11/10 – beyond expectations, beyond category. A destination I would not just recommend, but insist on. Without question, one of my top travel discoveries for 2026. As we sat outside on the man-made beach overlooking the beautiful pond, framed by rolling mountains, a golf buggy passed by. The driver, Ben, stopped and kindly asked if we would like to take a ride around the hotel grounds. What followed was unforgettable. We set off together and immediately began to ascend into the mountain areas, where the landscape opened up into something extraordinary. We were surrounded by peach trees, olive trees, and endless tea plantations stretching across the hillsides. The scenery felt untouched and alive. Stunning waterfalls cascaded down rock faces, and wildlife was everywhere — fish moving through clear waters, turtles basking quietly, geese and ducks gliding freely across ponds and streams. It felt like a living ecosystem woven seamlessly into the resort itself. At the peak, we reached the most incredible lookout observatory and restaurant, offering panoramic views over Anji and far beyond. The vistas were vast and layered, mountains fading into the distance under a calm, open sky. To top it all off, there is even a zip line (rip cord) for those brave enough to ascend and descend in style — an exhilarating contrast to the serenity below. Throughout it all, Ben’s kindness, warmth, and care were extraordinary, and perfectly matched the beauty of the experience. His generosity of spirit elevated the entire journey. A stay that moves from ship-like luxury, to lakeside tranquillity, to mountain adventure — all within a single, seamless experience. Simply unforgettable.

I really loved this guesthouse, especially its common areas. The library, in particular, stood out with its striking spatial design and vibrant color scheme, creating a wonderfully spacious and bright atmosphere. It's the perfect place to grab a book, order a coffee, and easily spend an entire afternoon. The host was also incredibly hospitable! I definitely hope to visit again next time!

I came to Yiwu to visit the trade city and compared several hotels in the area. I'm so glad I chose Cai, because staying here felt like the absolute right decision. The location is incredibly convenient, right next to phases 2 and 3 of the trade city, making it easily walkable. There are plenty of dining options nearby. The lobby has an elegant ambiance, and every little detail is meticulously maintained, showing how dedicated the hotel management is. The front desk service was gentle, polite, and enthusiastically attentive – truly impeccable! The room was clean and bright with good lighting. The hotel's voice-controlled butler was very convenient. The space was just right, with a well-organized layout. The bathroom had a clean wet/dry separation, and the toiletries were complete and of decent quality. The breakfast buffet was rich and abundant, offering a full range of Chinese simple meals. The congee was warm and comforting for the stomach, and the pastries were soft and delicious, freshly made daily. The taste was truly outstanding! For the price, considering the overall service, environment, and facilities, it far surpassed competitors in the same price range. I didn't encounter any unpleasant issues during my stay; it was comfortable and hassle-free. I highly recommend it and will definitely rebook for future trips.

Travelers beware! The photos advertising Ke Gamer do not resemble to actual room and the food is horrible. I opted to upgrade to the private hot spring villa for close to 4000rmb a night expecting a high class experience but was instead highly disappointed! We arrived on a Saturday and reserved a table at the restaurant, famished from traveling and expecting a wonderful meal. They did not mention that this was a set menu (only for the package that was included with the room) so there was no option to select my dishes nor to explain our gluten free diet. First bread came (couldn’t eat it, gluten) then a mushroom chicken soup that was difficult to swallow. Over salted and the chicken was rubbery. Then came there version of a kimchi that was ok. Shrimp next that was battered (gluten) and smothered in mayonnaise, and then an over salted spicy beef dish and inedible veggies dish.At this point we decided to leave and opted instead to pay for food delivery. When we shared this information with the assistant helping us he messaged me saying you are a foreigner would you prefer chicken wings or a steak. I’ve been living in China 10 years and never spoken to so rudely. My gf then wanted to have a soak in the hot spring and have a fire because the rain had stopped but she was told no they could not do this for us that night. That’s when I added the wechat and she deleted him so she would no longer have to talk to someone so rude. We did find it strange that even though I was now in communication with him he still attempted to friend my gf several times, very disrespectful!! After I explained how unsatisfactory the service was to that point he made more of an effort and we did get to enjoy a relaxing evening outside. The next day we stayed away from the restaurant not wanting to have that experience again so ordered delivery service again, decent food for delivery. We did attempt the on site restaurant one more time before checking out for breakfast and this was awful as well. Cold eggs, bacon and sausage. They did have a nice assortment of breads which we could not eat (gluten) so we had a yogurt container and coffee before leaving. One part of the stay was an assistant driving us into town to a nice tea shop. He took us tot he location and offered to help us select a shop. He was very friendly and helpful inside the shop to explain the differences in teas and get us a good deal. We ended up purchasing 2 boxes of tea to take home. Overall I did not enjoy the stay at this overpriced and falsely advertised hotel. This is certainly one case when we did not get what we paid for. Wishing you better luck than we had.

The hotel staff, from the entrance to the front desk, restaurant, and guest rooms, provided excellent service. The front desk even offered recommendations for local attractions, which was very helpful for planning our outings. The rooms and tents were all spotlessly clean, making it a comfortable stay for both the elderly and children. The large bed was soft and comfortable, the duvet thick and warm, and the toiletries had a smooth texture with a pleasant scent that rinsed off easily. The complimentary vegetarian set meal was surprisingly delicious. The brown sugar peach gum dessert was generously portioned, with every bite full of peach gum, and just the right sweetness. The burdock hand roll had rich layers and a refreshing taste. The dipping sauce for the pan-fried dumplings was incredibly fragrant, and the red amaranth was tender and perfect with rice. The oranges at the buffet were fresh, sweet, and juicy, and the watermelon juice was very refreshing and great for beating the heat. The hotel also provided free tickets to the Michelangelo Ice Cream Museum, which was amazing! There must have been hundreds of types and flavors of ice cream, and you could even try DIY ice cream making. It was a fantastic experience.

Its location is exceptionally good, offering convenient access to surrounding malls, restaurants, and transportation, making all daily necessities easily accessible. The staff are warm and attentive, and the check-in process was efficient and thoughtful, with prompt responses to requests. The guest rooms are well-appointed and comfortable, providing a truly pleasant stay. It offers incredible value for money, making it my top choice for travel accommodations. I'll definitely be back!

We stayed here during the Mid-Autumn Festival, and it was indeed quite crowded. However, I highly recommend this hotel for families with children under 7, it's very suitable. The swimming pool also has a dedicated splash area for toddlers, and the kids' play area is perfect for preschoolers, with all the heights just right. The parent-child DIY activities are also geared towards very young children. Moms can participate in sports while their kids are being looked after. Today, I tried aerial yoga, and Coach Maggie was very patient and taught really well. It was a fantastic experience. I strongly recommend it to anyone with good core strength – it's a lot of fun. The tea garden is not within the hotel grounds, so we didn't get to cycle 🚲. If you want to visit, you have to walk about 1 km. Finally, I have to complain about the buffet restaurant. The food selection was really sparse. There were already very few dishes, and if you went late, you had to wait for them to cook each one individually, which was a bit frustrating. The noodles at the dinner buffet were mushy. But it was still better than the buffet restaurant in Anji, haha.
