The room was super clean, well decorated and full equipped. The checkin process was easy. The hotel uses the machine for checking in and out. During my check in, there was a staff to facilitate me with it. The staff was really nice. They provided various amenity kits you can pick them up at the lobby to use in your room.
From the hotel entrance, the friendly guidance, the room was spacious and clean, the amenities were good, and the bathroom and bathtub were separate, so I was able to sleep without being disturbed, which was great. Also, the hot spring water was really good, and the breakfast was also really good. I think I will visit again next time. 😊
This is a fantastic resort! With the dinner and breakfast package, you practically don't need to leave the hotel for meals. The resort offers a wide range of entertainment facilities, including a swimming pool and a mini lazy river. The onsen (hot springs) are also excellent, with each bath providing a different scenic view. It's conveniently located about 1 km (a 15-minute walk) from Aso Station, making it very easy to get to the volcano crater.
It’s the first hotel that I’ve been to in Japan that had a normal check-in procedure through the receptionist rather than a machine, and you’re greeted upon entry. The location is so perfect and considering it’s right next to the train station, I didn’t hear a thing. Also the room for the price was very comfortable and spacious!
This small family-run guesthouse is nestled in the Minami-Aso mountains. The rooms are in individual villas, with an open-air hot spring bath in a separate building (though the water isn't very hot). Each room has a toilet and is in a spacious Japanese-Western style. A night's stay with two meals for under 3000 yen is considered inexpensive; dinner might not be enough for those with a large appetite.
Kurokawa onsen was the highlight of my trip to Kyushu. So I splurged on this accomodation. I chose a room with river view and it was the best decision. Love the stay so much.
Staffs were lovely and helpful. They speak good English and Mandarin. Lobby was spacious. Plenty of spaces to chill and chat as a family.
The onsens were abundance to choose from.
Breakfast was awesome, so was dinner.
We got the room with 2 beds and 2 futons. We all enjoyed our stay so much
As it is not near the JR station, you need to take a tram to get there. But it is near the castle and the arcade where there are many stalls to shop.
Service is excellent.
The bed is quite comfortable too.
JAL's service really deserves a thumbs up; many Chinese service industries could learn from them. My earring fell into the sink, and I'd pretty much given up hope. But the lady at the front desk and a gentleman went to great lengths to help me find it. I'm so grateful!
This was my second stay here. It's less than a kilometer from Kumamoto Shinkansen Station, right next to the Shirakawa River. After leaving the hotel, you cross a bridge and can then take a leisurely stroll along the clean riverside path. Another bridge brings you to Kumamoto Shinkansen Station. The whole walk takes about 15 minutes. The hotel is a bit older, but overall it's still very clean and pleasant, and the breakfast is quite good. There's a Japanese restaurant called Korin next to the smoking room on the first floor, and the food is delicious. The rooms are pretty clean, and while the bathrooms are small, they're perfectly acceptable. In terms of location, it's certainly not as convenient as Bloom right next to Kumamoto Station. You won't find any convenience stores nearby; the closest one is a LAWSON about a 10-minute walk behind the hotel.
The room was very warm and clean. It was very comfortable to live in. The boss was very warm and thoughtful, making us feel Renji's warmth! Thank you so much! If I have another chance to come to Renji in the future, I will choose it again!

Kkronodmo mulalaI had an enchanting two-night stay at this hotel, where the picturesque view of the river from my room added a serene touch to the experience. The included breakfast and dinner were nothing short of fantastic, offering a delightful journey through Japanese cuisine. The attentive service further elevated my stay.
The onsen was a highlight, boasting a spacious interior and a tranquil outdoor area. The immersion in the calming waters was a rejuvenating experience, and the overall ambiance added a profound sense of relaxation to my stay. Highly recommend for those seeking a blend of natural beauty, exceptional food, and attentive service.

GGuest UserThe room was new and the service was good. You absolutely must try the complimentary 60-minute hot spring bath; although it's a large public bath, the environment is very comfortable. The location is a 3-minute walk from Suizen-ji Temple and about a 17-minute taxi ride from Kumamoto Castle. Breakfast and dinner were also delicious.
GGuest UserThe resort location is accessible actually by bus from tateno 立野 station and the last bus is in the evening you may check the timetable online. We did not drive and leaving the accommodation is less convenient because all taxis were booked out but the staff was very friendly as to driving us to the nearby train station to continue our journey to Aso Volcano.
Service was good. The private onzen was amazing and we were able to use it for one hour. The public bath was good too but the amenities they provided inside were not as enough, eg they don't have comb for ladies and make up removing pads. Other than that, cleanliness was amazing and staff were friendly, rooms had amazing Mountain View's.
