My wife and I recently stayed here and overall, we had an enjoyable experience. The room was reasonably priced and offered good value for money. We especially liked the cozy atmosphere, and the convenience of having parking right in front of the room made our stay even more comfortable. However, there are a few areas for improvement. The air conditioning was directed straight towards the bed, which made it quite cold during the night. Basic amenities like a toothbrush were not provided, so it’s better to bring your own. Additionally, the water pressure in the shower was a bit slow. Despite these minor issues, we still had a pleasant stay and would consider coming back again.

The bed was very cozy, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a long day of exploring. One of the highlights of my stay was the infinity pool, which overlooked the ocean and created a breathtaking atmosphere, especially during sunset. I spent hours there just relaxing and enjoying the scenic beauty. The resort also had a variety of dining options, and the food was delicious, offering both local Malaysian flavors and international cuisine. Every meal felt special, with fresh ingredients and great presentation. Another thing I appreciated was the peaceful environment of the resort. It was not overly crowded, which allowed me to enjoy quiet moments and truly unwind. The location was also convenient for visiting nearby attractions, making it easy to explore the island while still having a calm place to return to. Overall, my stay at Resorts World Langkawi was an unforgettable experience filled with comfort, relaxation, and beautiful memories. I spent 4 days and 3 nights at Royale Signature Hotel, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the most pleasantly surprising stays in Alor Setar! From check-in to check-out, everything felt smooth and welcoming — the staff genuinely made me feel like a guest, not just a booking number. The room was spacious, bright, and thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials: comfy bed, soft pillows, mini-fridge, and a spot-perfect workspace. The sleep quality was impressive… though, full disclosure, the soundproofing could use an upgrade — I could occasionally hear faint hallway sounds. Nothing deal-breaking, but something to note if you’re a deep sleeper. Location-wise, it’s a winner. Walking distance to Aman Central, local cafés, and Alor Setar Tower made exploring effortless. High floors also offer a lovely city view — perfect for morning coffee or sunset photos. Little touches made my stay memorable: complimentary Wi-Fi that never faltered, modern toiletries, and those small staff gestures that made a difference — smiles, helpful directions, and quick responses whenever I needed something. Overall, Royale Signature Hotel is a great value for a 4-star stay in the heart of the city. Comfortable, convenient, and welcoming — I left feeling rested, happy, and already planning my next visit. If you’re coming to Alor Setar, this hotel will not disappoint. 💡 Tip: Request a higher floor for the best city views and bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper — minor things, but your stay will be perfect!

My stay at frangipani was better than what I expected. The resorts location is ideal for island vacation, perfect blend of untouched beach and resorts ecosystem is extraordinary. The staff is very helpful, polite and attentive. I found my room was very clean plus house keeping was to the point. The swimming pools are maintained well. All in all I would say its a perfect place to stay for couples and families. I would come back here again.

My stay at Langkapuri Inn didn’t quite live up to my expectations, to be honest. The room was definitely spacious, but the interior felt rather basic and could be improved. Adding simple furniture, such as a couch, would make the space more comfortable. The washroom, in particular, could benefit from some renovation. That said, the rooftop area is a nice highlight — it’s a relaxing spot to unwind at night, and they even screen movies there, which creates a chill atmosphere. The location is also convenient. It’s an easy walk to Pantai Cenang, and there are plenty of food options nearby. Overall, while the facilities could use some upgrading, the location and rooftop vibe are definite plus points.

Book 2 rooms for 3 nights. 1 room have shampoo and body wash another don’t have. 1st day check in one room air con is not cold at all ask the counter and advise need to wait 3-4hrs at that point of time we reach the hotel when check in about 9pm so we go out find food come bk 11+pm still not cold. Another room air con acceptable. Realise the toilet bowl and basin and shower water is yellowish ask the counter and claim is like that. Then I have to buy bottles of mineral to brush teeth. Bed got a lot of stain. 2nd night we check out and book another hotel. Which was fantastic. The lobby air con is more colder than the room. Will not stay in this hotel 1st and the last time.

The amenities were great,( i didnt try, but they look nice), nice infinity pool, located at the beach side. Breakfast area was nice, great deaogn, food variation was okay. I get to enjoy a nice sunset at the beach. The downside is the cleanliness of the room. The room smells of cigarette, so I asked for room freshener. They came and sprayed, but the smell still linger. I didnt say anything since I was quite tired. The floor was not vacuum, I can feel the sand on the floor when I stepped into the room, there are a lot at the room entrance. I had to wear slipper everytime. The space near the toilet was a bit cleaner, but still can feel the sand. It is not comfortable to pray. The WC was dirty, got yellowish stain at the bowl. The check in experience was not really smooth for me. I arrived at 1pm, asking if I can check in early, and they said the room was not ready, so I understand. I waited for 40 minutes, but it was still not ready. Then I went out for work, came back at 6.30 pm, but the check in was still not ready, and I need to wait for a while to get my room card even though they said that a room was assigned, I thought they have checked in for me, but no, they asked for my ID again. I left my luggage earlier, and they just left it in the open. The window locked was broken, even when I try to close, it opened by itself, no wonder I can hear the loud music and animal sound (like a bird or something, its loud and i can here it throughout my stay) I only realized that the window opened itself in the morning because the lock was broken, no wonder the aircond was not cold. I didnt realize because i didnt open the curtain till the next morning. Overall experience was not so good with the room, I was tired and upset with the room cleanliness. Apart from the ambience and the pool area, I dont think the hotel is up to 4-star standard in terms of cleanliness and hospitality.

The location was great and the staff were Friendly. However, service was quite slow for food and drinks. The beach wasn't ranked or cleaned regularly and there were often cups and stuff like empty coconuts left from the previous night when we would go to the beach in the morning (like 10am so not insanely early). The room was nice but dated and the regular cleaning staff did well, but it needed a deep clean. For example, the Windows we're dirty (on The outside) and the inside was a bit moldy from the ac unit causing condensation. The coconut the frog has was left there on the table. Bed

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stayed here with my family and overall we had a pleasant stay. The resort grounds are beautiful, spacious and full of greenery, giving a relaxing kampung-style tropical vibe. The beach is just a short walk away and the sunset view was amazing. The swimming pool was one of our kids' favourite spots. Staff were generally friendly and check-in was smooth. The room was comfortable and suitable for families. However, we experienced an issue during our stay where several family members developed itchy rashes/insect bites. We are not completely certain of the source, but it affected our overall experience and caused some concern, especially with young children. Despite that, the resort itself is beautiful, family-friendly and located in a great area near Pantai Cenang. Hopefully the resort can look into this matter to ensure future guests have a more comfortable stay.
