Arrived by bus from Singapore, and the hotel is super close to the bus station. There's a 7-Eleven downstairs, and if you walk a bit further, there are two shopping malls. It's also quite near the old city wall ruins.
The earliest check-in time is around 2:30 PM, which feels pretty inconvenient. On the bright side, there are plenty of seating areas in the lobby.
The room itself is quite spacious, and the bathroom is clean. Overall, it's great value for money.

My favorite hotel in Malacca! The design has an old-money feel, very artistic. The breakfast is special, with local Indian pancakes that taste great. The bathroom in the room has a bathtub, and my window overlooks a river. The parking lot behind the hotel is also very spacious. It offers great value for money. The front desk staff are very polite. They even offered a welcome drink and flower cookies that reminded me of my childhood. It truly brought me back to my younger days. I love this hotel so much and will definitely stay here again!

Hotel is very conveniently located near makuta parade and 2 other malls, especially if you are going there by coach. There is a caring pharmacy just in front and many eatries around. Our 2 bedder family room was big and spacious but the carpets might need a wash and the room feels a but mouldy but we rented an air purifier that helped. Breakfast was average. Overall a good stay.

The service and facilities of this hotel is top notch. Location might be abit further from jonker street but no problem for us as we are driving. There is free shuttle service every 2 hours to town if required. We had a good stay there and will return if we visit Malacca again. There is a bathtub too!

The room was a bit old-fashioned. The window was small and the bathroom sink was tiny, though the shower was decent. Breakfast was just okay and required walking to a separate building. It was also very crowded, with many tour groups. There's no sidewalk directly outside the hotel, so you need to be careful when walking out. It's not close to the main attractions, so if you're not big on walking, you might want to think twice before booking.

The breakfast selection was incredibly rich, offering both Chinese and Western options. The ingredients were fresh and delicious; I was super satisfied every day. The staff were exceptionally warm and friendly, smiling throughout and providing thoughtful service. They proactively helped with luggage and guided me through check-in, paying attention to every detail. Upon arrival, I was greeted with warm snacks and drinks, which instantly melted away my travel fatigue. The room was clean and comfortable, the environment was quiet, and the layout was practical and spacious. Being on a mid-level floor meant no noise, making for a truly peaceful and relaxing stay. Next time I'm in town, this will be my first choice. I highly recommend it to everyone!

The counter staff are friendly. When I feedback about the leak in the toilet, the issue was addressed very quickly. The technician came to my room and fixed the leakage.
The view from the hotel room is great. I have a good read in my hotel room.
We previously visited in 2023 as a couple. The breakfast was delicious and the room was very comfortable. The hotel service was excellent as well. This year, we returned again with our two children, and it was totally worth it. Highly recommended

JJoseph_yjyThe environment is fantastic, right by the sea. This hotel was bought by the Sultan of Johor and reopened after 25 years. It's a resort-style hotel with a pool, and it's quite peaceful. Right outside is Portuguese Square, though it's a bit far from Jonker Street and Dutch Square. The occupancy rate isn't very high, so the breakfast service depends on that โ either a full buffet or a set menu. The hotel's hygiene could be improved, and some details aren't quite up to par. Most facilities are provided, but they're all basic.

GGuest UserThis Ibis is much better than those in China. The room is clean, and the bedding is also quite clean. The breakfast is relatively rich, though the taste might not suit Chinese palates. The front desk staff doesn't speak Chinese, and some only speak Malay, not English. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Jonker Street, and it only takes a few minutes to walk to the Dutch Square (Red Square), which is very convenient.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is quite good, with two malls nearby offering plenty of restaurants and a supermarket for souvenirs. It's conveniently located between Jonker Street and the Straits Mosque, about a ten-minute taxi ride to both. The room looked a bit dated, but the amenities were quite comprehensive. The family room had a bunk bed, which the kids loved. It was advertised as a 2.3m king-size bed, but it felt more like an 1.8m. When booking, it stated two breakfasts were included, and even though we had 2 adults and 3 children, we weren't charged extra for breakfast, which we really appreciated. The breakfast offered both Western and Chinese options, and the taste was good; our favorite was definitely the noodle soup shown in the pictures.
