Damai Lagoon Resort is nestled between the Mountain Santubong and the South China Sea. The resort environment is serene tugged in a tropical rainforest setting. The area provides a tranquil retreat with dense jungles and sandy beaches. The Sarawak Cultural Village is located just a stone’s throw away. It is within 10 minutes walking distance. We were given all sea-fronting views with one corner rooms on the 3rd floor. We could listen to the waves crashing on the beach during high tide. The spacious space coupled with modern shower amenities and comfortable bedding made our stay an enjoyable experience and we had a relaxing time there. The buffet breakfast served was sumptuous with wide spread of local cuisines. We enjoyed swimming in the clean infinity pool in a sunset backdrop. There are many indoor games provided for the children. Thus, you will not get bored staying in this resort. The resort entrance is grand and the guest lounge is huge and beautiful overlooking the sea. The resort staff members are very helpful and friendly. The resort is highly recommended if you want to have a relaxing holiday outside Kuching city. Thank you.

The front desk staff was very accommodating and willingly changed both our room facing and floor upon request, which we truly appreciated . We were also impressed that the hotel supports the Penan women’s basket weaving community by showcasing and selling their handmade crafts to help raise funds for them. Naturally, my wife could not resist purchasing one of the lovely woven bags. The hotel’s location is also excellent, with many restaurants and eateries conveniently located nearby.

It was a pleasant weekend, having to stay at Hilton Kuching. The location is perfect, right next to the promenade and river, facing the majestic landmark of the State Government office, which is the backdrop for the nightly fountain show. Everything about Kuching, the old charm of Carpenter Street, the newer side of town, etc are all within a stone’s throw away. The staff of Hilton is amazingly friendly and helpful. All in all we had a great stay at Hilton Kuching.

Room with sea view was absolutely perfect. The panoramic ocean view from our room were breathtaking, green, fresh. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met. Very calm pool to swim. Private beach access was ideal for relaxing vacation.

The hotel is beautifully designed, with an elegant atmosphere that creates a very comfortable stay. The interior is stylish, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, allowing me to have a great night's sleep. However, I believe the hotel should pay more attention to housekeeping and quality control, especially considering it is a newly opened property. The white coffee table in my room was covered with a noticeable layer of dust. When I wiped it with my hand, dust came off immediately. Surprisingly, the other tables in the room were clean, so it seemed that this particular table had been overlooked. I also found dust on the floor beside the glass panel next to the bathtub, which looked as though it had not been cleaned. In addition, there was a loose screw beside the fish tank, along with visible traces of unfinished construction or installation work. These details should have been properly cleaned up and inspected before the room was handed over to guests. The weighing scale also had visible dirty marks on it, which did not leave a good impression. Another disappointment was that I called Guest Services twice to report these issues, but no one answered either call. In the end, I gave up trying. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed the hotel's beautiful design, elegant ambience, and comfortable bed. My experience would have been much better if more attention had been given to cleanliness, room inspection, and guest service. I hope the management will address these issues, as the hotel has great potential to provide an excellent guest experience. Stayed for 5d 4n. Overall was good, staff were very welcoming, limited basement parking. Not sure if we can park at Puteri Basement Parking. No clear instructions given. We were dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the bed, we asked for a change after second day of our stay but we noticed the they did not change. The location was superb anyways. Breakfast spread were moderate. We expected more options.
