Stayed here with last min booking. My rooms was too hot that time so I just open the window. For those whi want to stay here I suggest prepare small cabin lugggage instead of bring all the lugggae to the room if you got the 1st floor room. Because you need to use the stairs Anyway this hotel has a pretty decoration for the Christmas They dont provide any amenities. And you need to pay for it. As most of the Northern Europe hotel

I am so glad to stay at Thon Hotel. All the staff are very friendly, breakfast is varied and delicious. The room is clean and tidy. Most importantly, my family saw the Northern Lights right in front of the hotel. Super excited! I will definitely stay at Thon Hotel again in the future.

The hotel and the equipment are a little older, but that is really not a problem, because: The rooms are large, the beds are wide, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet is large and delicious! There was no restaurant in the hotel, but on foot there are some well-valued restaurants available. The parking is behind the house. We saw the Northern Lights on our very first night, which took all the pressure off the rest of our trip – it was absolutely beautiful and magical! If you can only pick one hotel in Kirkenes, this is definitely it. It's the departure point for King Crab fishing tours, and many tourists even take a bus here just to join them.

Very good for the price. Kirkenes is not very big, everything is accessible by foot. No lift for 3 floors but a very convenient load for baggage. At the foot floor, very good Chinese restaurant, Shanghai. The room was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable.

The hotel is very well located, and it allows you not to take the car to go to a few courses or to the shopping centre. The hotel's location is great, and the rooms are generally clean. There's a supermarket right across the street, which is very convenient. However, the bedside lamp in my room was broken. The staff said they needed to wait for a repairman, but the next day they claimed they couldn't find one. They offered to move me to a downgraded standard room, which I, of course, refused. After that, there was no further follow-up. 😡 Also, too many tour groups stay here, so there was no seating available for breakfast, and I had to sit at the bar. 🙄
