Hotel is very cheap. Nearby is the Saarpark shopping centre and Decatlon with fitness studio. However, there is no restaurant with good bars and restaurants like the Stumm's brewing house accessible by foot. Breakfast in the hotel with good choice. Little bar at the reception. Free parking outside the hotel. Rooms clean and well equipped. Matches comfortable. Hotel I can recommend.
The room facilities were new, and the front desk service was excellent. The room price was reasonable, even with many people coming to watch the game, it was still good value for money. The hotel's location was also excellent, very convenient to the train station.
The Hotel Wahlster provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Hotel Wahlster is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Saarbruecken. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Luisenthal(Saar) located approximately 3km away and Saarbrücken Airport roughly 24km away. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Spielplatz, Lutherkirche Altenkessel and Grand Mosque all nearby. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel.
Perfect modern hotel for night stay, just next to the highway.
No restaurant for dinner, but in the immediate surroundings, either over the road to the Brauhaus, with food cafe dishes and, among other things, self-bringed beer.
A great breakfast buffet in the hotel.
There are quite a lot of rooms in this hotel, which can be said to be the largest hotel in this town. The heating in the room is very warm. The room I live in also has a microwave, induction cooker, refrigerator, and everything. Breakfast is quite satisfactory, except for potato cakes and scrambled eggs are hot food, the rest are cold food. The front desk girls can speak English and there is no problem communicating. The cleaning staff can speak German. I like the glass windows of the hotel very much. It is the kind of typical German open window and the ventilation is great. The surrounding area is quite convenient. Go left and there are some shopping malls and small stores. Except that the breakfast is slightly monotonous, everything else is fine.
Great location and excellent value for money. It's very close to the train station, and most attractions are within walking distance. The staff are warm and attentive, and the breakfast is good too. There are supermarkets and malls nearby, though proper restaurants require reservations, and their prices are moderate with decent food. If you have time, you can go for a run along the Saar River – it's a quiet and very livable small town.
The hotel is OK. Practically not very comfortable. Simply an old hotel.
Unfortunately there were only two large towels in the bathroom and no small towels at the sink. Unfortunately that was a bit too little when the shower was completely leaky.

SSebKoPerfect Stay, friendly, clean, very central, great breakfast!
PPapornKThe hotel is situated in a relatively remote area, and I selected it primarily because it offers a car charger and is priced reasonably at around 100€ per night, including breakfast. I have found the hotel to be exceptionally clean, and the staff members are quite welcoming and attentive. The room is spacious enough for my needs as I only utilize it during the night. While air conditioning is not a common feature in Germany, a small fan is provided; however, it tends to be somewhat noisy. I shared this feedback with the staff. An inside pool with sauna is also very welcoming. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time for that. Overall, I believe it is a commendable local hotel that offers a solid experience.
FFei Xien ChangThis hotel is really good and comfortable. Sound proof room and clean. It is located 10 minutes walking distance from tram, bus, and main train station. Shopping malls and restaurants are around the corner ❤️
Second time staying here and I really like this hotel. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms and friendly polite staff. Location is also great, within 5 mins from the main station and 1 minute to the Main Street. Starbucks, REWE, Europa Gallerie mall with many food options within 1 minute. The next time I am back in Saarbrücken to watch FZD match I will stay again.
GGuest UserDelightful welcome - made to feel at ease. Spotless room with balcony: plenty of space. Bottle of water waiting. The nearest thing to a niggle is that I prefer a hard mattress, but I realise that I am in a minority… Superb breakfast - as good as any I have enjoyed.
GGuest UserFood in restaurant was very good with lots of choice. Facilities were basic which reflect the age of place. But we had all we need. No lift and walking up two flights of stairs with luggage was a bit difficult. Otherwise staff were very friendly.
