This hotel offers excellent value for money. Its central location in Kota Kinabalu is incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food, with many popular local eateries within walking distance. As an economy brand under Wyndham, the hotel is generally clean and tidy. While the rooms are designed with simplicity in mind, they offer ample space and good natural light, and all essential amenities are provided. The staff are quite enthusiastic, and check-in and check-out processes are quick. There's an international restaurant on-site. While the breakfast selection isn't particularly luxurious, it's perfectly adequate for a simple daily meal. If you're visiting Kota Kinabalu for leisure or business and looking for an affordable, well-located, and brand-backed place to stay, this is a very practical and comfortable choice.

The hotel was unique in its design. The room was spacious for 3 and the interior design of the room was great. Toilet, bathroom and bathtub were separated and we had all face no problem when we need them Breakfast however was slightly below expected, the fruits were not so sweet and the cereals was a let down. It does not taste like original coco crunch and corn flakes. But other than that other food were okay for hotel level. On the service, all the staff there were excellent and I had a wonderful stay throughout and ya they do also provide laugage storage in case you have a later flight. It could have been awesome shall there be swimming pool available which were allowed for homestay residence only But overall, I do love this hotel in terms of their service and design. .

In Kota Kinabalu, accommodation is generally categorized into two price ranges: above and below 500MYR. For those above 500MYR, there are only a handful of decent options, but they often lack convenient transportation. For those under 500MYR, the quality you get pretty much depends on how much you spend, and frankly, it's a bit of a gamble – a 400MYR room isn't necessarily better than a 100MYR one, it's all down to luck. This hotel, however, gets a big thumbs up from me! The room size is around 15-17 square meters, so not huge, but everything is fully equipped, clean, and tidy, which is super important for a Libra like me. The only minor downsides were the insufficient hot water (though after showering with cool water on the island, even lukewarm water felt warm back at the hotel, haha!). Also, the parking lot behind the hotel had about 15 minutes of noisy trash collection every night. Overall, I'd give it a 4.5-star recommendation – it really blew the competition out of the water! This was my third time staying at the Kaseh Hotel in Kota Kinabalu, and I brought my mother along for a trip. As always, the stay was incredibly satisfying! Service: The front desk staff were warm and helpful, offering check-in services in both Chinese and English. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful, with a wide variety of dishes that my mother particularly enjoyed. When cleaning the room, they always replenished necessary disposable items and even helped tidy up clothes on the bed and toiletries in the bathroom, which was very thoughtful. Cleanliness: The hotel was clean and tidy, with daily room cleaning service. Environment: The location is extremely convenient. Taking a Grab to city attractions is always within a ten-minute drive, making it easy to get to Sutera Harbour for island hopping and Gaya Street. There are also many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. It's only about a ten-minute Grab ride from the airport, so there's no need to wake up extra early to catch a flight. Getting around to and from the hotel is very convenient. Facilities: As always, the facilities are complete. You can take hotel towels with you for island hopping and snorkeling, just remember to return them. There are plenty of drying racks, perfect for hanging clothes. There's also an outdoor swimming pool. Hope to see Kota Kinabalu again next time!

This hotel experience exceeded all expectations! The location is excellent with convenient transportation, and the room is spacious and clean with comfortable bedding that helped me sleep soundly. The staff were warm and attentive, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It's an excellent choice for both business trips and leisure travel. I highly recommend it to all travelers!

The location is fantastic. There's a huge mimosa tree right outside the window. Every night, the egrets wash themselves there and look like a bouquet of flowers from my room; in the morning, they slowly spread out. There's a night market directly across the street, making dining very convenient, and the sea views are also excellent. As for the room itself, it's pretty much a standard Aimei Hotel room. The front desk service was okay, and they spoke a bit of Chinese. The doorman opening doors and everything else was also good.

I have stayed in this hotel before and this time round I chose to stay in this hotel. It was a good selection because it’s convenient for my business purposes. It’s close to the airport and easy to grab rides. However, this time round the room was not up to par because the air-conditioning was not working in pristine condition, room felt rather warm.

Overall cleanliness was good. And the location is very strategic as it is located in one of KK's biggest malls. I don't know if I could recommend this hotel due to my experience of construction noises lasting from 10pm to 12am (and it went over 12am where I had to ask the staff to check on it). I understand this may be a one-off incident but the lack of understanding from the staff is what truly puts me off. Even though the noise was coming from the mall, it does directly affect your customers and thus it is a problem that the hotel has to address. I called to complain twice, got no updates after the first and had to face a very dismissive receptionist in the second. The hotel should have taken more active measures and worked with the mall management. I don't think there's any excuse as to why construction has to happen AT NIGHT where your guests want to rest/sleep. Other than the mall, no other amenities.

The rooms were clean and well-maintained with complete amenities. The location was convenient, making it easy to get around. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, leading to a great overall stay. The environment was quiet, the bedding comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. It offered great value for money. Overall, I was satisfied and would stay here again.

Arrived on a late-night flight, and it was a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport. The hotel is quite clean, but the decor is really outdated. Since we arrived late, they only offered us a corner room. We disagreed, and after a long back-and-forth, they still wouldn't budge. We then contacted Trip.com, who communicated with the hotel on our behalf, and they finally agreed to give us a room in the middle of the floor with the same room type. Clearly, they had other rooms available but just didn't want to give them to us. The location of the old Hyatt is excellent, getting anywhere is super convenient.
