5-Star Hotels in Goa, India

The stay was marvellous… thankyou to the team at front office who did our checkin , fnb who prepared and served the food with live, room service who made sure we get the room clean and organised when we are back. I will definitely book the same once I m back to Goa. Taxi stand is near and the area is very safe for the female travellers.

The food is superb, the beach is superb, and the rooms are decent (a bit old already). The downside is that upon check-out, they add items to the bill that weren't ordered, claiming I had supposedly ordered something. This happened twice. When I asked for a receipt to confirm, they immediately apologized and removed the charges. Always check your bills!

The hotel is in a great location. Very friendly welcome. We were shown to our room and things explained. The balcony was small but ample. The room should have contained robe and slippers but these were missing, although didn't affect our stay so not a real issue. The pool is small but was very quiet and provided a nice cool off. Towels are available at the counter. The hotel is located directly on the beach with beech shacks and restaurants on the beach very nearby. The hotel does not provide beach loungers BUT if you head to a beach shack and buy a drink or two, they will allow the use of a bed for free. Directly out of the hotel gate on the beach there was a lady with beds trying to charge 500 rupees for a bed for the day. This is not necessary when you can get a drink for less with a free bed. We nearly learned the hard way. The bed was far too hard for me, resulting in reduced sleep, but some people may prefer a firmer bed. My partner slept better than me so this was a personal experience. The bedding was nice quality though. The whole place was clean and tidy. Rooms made up every day in the afternoon so not disturbed early morning which is nice. The rooms are not soundproof so a lot of noise can be heard from outside when people start moving around in the morning. Staff were friendly - everyone had a smile, and nothing too much trouble. We only experienced breakfast once, and I would say it is ok as long as you don't expect a full English fry up (which in my opinion you shouldn't as you're in India). The food was hot, tasty, and fresh. There was plenty to choose from for a breakfast selection. If I was to fault the breakfast, to provide a suggestion, providing tea and coffee black so that customers can add their own milk would make it more accessible to all. I can't drink too much dairy so had to give this a miss. Then the only real downside to this hotel we found is when checking out, you are made to wait until the room has been checked, in case you steal anything. I completely understand this, but this should be made clear when checking in. We had booked a taxi to arrive at check out time, which could have resulted in additional costs for waiting time. Just to be mindful if staying here and arranging onward travel. Or maybe the hotel could make this policy clearer upon checking in. All in all a very nice stay in Candolim and this hotel was a good choice.

This is a beautiful resort with nice rooms. Ours was clean and spacious. The staff was generally very good and assisted with things like booking taxis. The beach is not private - only the access path to the beach is private. That did not pose a problem for us. When we arrived we were told we needed to pay 11000 rupees each for a mandatory New Year’s Eve party. They insisted we had been notified when we had not, and claimed they could not check us in until we paid. It felt extortive to insist on this payment with no prior notification (and, they first said we had definitely been contacted but they couldn’t find proof, and later said they hadn’t had a way to contact us). Ultimately we did pay with a discount and enjoyed the party. However, the experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I would warn anyone saying over Christmas or New Years that these extremely expensive, mandatory parties will occur.

Overall this was a very satisfying stay. A few major hiccups but less on account of the hotel or staff. Certain times of the year it does get too busy. During our stay it was found to be comfortable and satisfying. I think the staff here are very professional and dedicated to what they are doing. I would return for a stay here.

Got back from Planet Hollywood last week. Location - this is a quite beach with beautiful small grain sand and clean. Many locals in the sea and clean. There are a couple of shacks each side on the hotel beach with beds and drinks and tables. Sunset is beautiful from here. Hotel: On arrival we were greeted, luggage taken to our rooms. We had the luxury pool view room- good amount of space in the bedroom, lovely balcony over looking the pool, bathroom clean. Towels changed daily and cleaned well. If you want anything staff are more than happy to help. Staff are extremely helpful - we had a couple of issues with the room, but turned out to be user errors. We had a maintenance chap in our room within minutes. The food was absolutely divine - eastern and western palates catered for. Chef Veronus came to talk to us every day at breakfast, and also made us some dishes not on the menu - really delightful and exceedingly good! The pool was very quite, but suited us. April is wedding season and there were some weddings on during the day and evening, but this is in a separate part of the complex. We actually enjoyed watching elements from the side lines. The wedding decor was incredible. We could not fault this hotel, we were taken care of so well!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home. The room was beautifully designed, offering both comfort and style, and the breathtaking views from the window added to the overall charm. Every detail, from the delicious breakfast to the relaxing amenities, contributed to an unforgettable stay.

An absolutely delightful stay. I highly recommend this place to everyone and especially those looking to relax and unwind by the beach. Not ***y places in India are like this. The facilities and staff are all top notch. Very professional and polite. They took care of all our needs without hesitation. There's a nice garden to walk at night, with direct access to beach and security guards on both exits. The resort had very ample variety of food, with different restaurants to choose from. Though perhaps a bit overpriced compared to equally good restaurants nearby. Overall, I wished we had stayed a little longer but already had flights booked. Definitely will come back when I'm back in Goa.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Thats what we can truly say about Doubletree! Nithesh, Syantika & Shivram the 3 of them really made our stay Great and Wonderful! They deserve the recognition for their service. The night we arrived, we were welcomed by Nithesh at the reception. The check in was quick and Nithesh followed us all the way to our room giving us information on the bfast, facilities, f&b and other details that we needed to know! Great Service, Nithesh! At the cafe during bfast, we were served by Shivram. He made sure we did not miss a thing! Shivram, we were looking out for you over the next few days, but maybe you were on another shift. Great Service, Shivram! Last but not least, Syantika! Although you are a newbie, you did not seem like a newbie at all! Your charm and must-do attitude, awesome! Both my wife and me felt, that your truthfulness in attending to a query that we asked you, and getting an almost immediate response, just speaks a thousand words! Located in a quiet area of ​​the Condolim district near Fort Aguada. The room matches the photo and description. The territory is not large, there is a swimming pool and a lawn with a couple of tables. Breakfast: omelet / fried eggs, oatmeal, muesli, 1 type of yogurt, cottage cheese, 2 types of sausage, 1 type of cheese, 1 fork of chicken sausage, baked potatoes, national dishes. Fruits include pineapple, papaya, and watermelon. The pastries are not very tasty, but edible. Juice 1-2 types. The beach is 5 minutes across the road ***** a path. The beach is nice, not many people.
