4-Star Hotels in Henan, China

Although Dongshan Longyue isn't officially star-rated, my overall stay far exceeded expectations. The hotel rooms were meticulously clean, and being able to smoke in the room was a really thoughtful touch! The interior was tidy and odor-free, and both the bedding and bathroom facilities were spotless and hygienic, perfectly meeting all basic daily living needs. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its superb location. It's situated right inside the Longmen Grottoes scenic area, just 200 meters from the grottoes entrance. There's no need to rush in the morning or spend time commuting to and from the site; you can reach the attractions with just a short walk, saving a significant amount of travel time. This is especially convenient for visitors specifically coming to explore the grottoes. Star rating aside, the clean rooms combined with the unparalleled location made me feel like I was sharing a mountain with the Great Buddha.

Let me talk about the basic conditions first. I have only gone to Xinxian twice. Coincidentally, I have been in the same hotel twice, in the same room, opened the window, looked at the river, and had an endless view! Going out to stroll along the river bank, the spring breeze is coming, it is difficult to have a pleasant feeling! There is a small bridge, it is a new county square, the center of the county! After busy, you can drive to the West River, feel the beautiful scenery of the few people there, and you can also ride the capital of Yuyu-Su District, look up at the heroes, and return to the original heart!

Always excited to try new hotels in Puyang! Passed by this place because there's an EV charging point at a petrol station. I've stayed in the business version of this Biway chain of hotels at Hualong District and it was not bad so I decided to take a chance. This hotel is the premium version of their business series and I'm glad to say that the interior is indeed premium. However it is considered small compared to other luxury premium level hotels in Puyang, but it is more convenient here so it is understandable. Staff is very friendly and well trained even though our check in was rather late. I'm a foreigner so it's a little tricky but all's well and they've upgraded us too. The room is smart so you can say ”Xiaodu Xiaomi” haha. The switches were intuitive so plus points to that! I love the hotel amenities like the hair dryer was pretty superb, heating system in the room is super toasty too. The beddings is really luxurious it's gotta be one of the best I've tried in China haha not an exaggeration. The pooping toilet is separate from the bathing toilet, I like that because my husband's 💩 is really smelly hahahha. Toilet seat is also heated and they provide a disposable toilet seat too. Note that this hotel has an EV charging point but only 1 parking spot so that's very few. Just a few suggestions to take it to the next level: 1. Toilet bowls could have a washing bidet. 2. There's veryyyyy slight hint of smoke smell but it is because my room isn't a non-smoking room. But I would suggest having differentiation of smoking and non-smoking rooms so sensitive folks like me would not smell it at all, or use a better ionic treatment. 3. The hotel should have more EV charging parking spots considering the large number of EVs in China. 4. TV apps are not paid so there's practically nothing much to watch. There are hotels with paid accounts so that's a bonus. Overall no complaints and I look forward to staying again!

This business trip chose the Jiji Zhengzhou Beilonghu Financial Center Store, the overall experience exceeded expectations. The hotel is located in the core area of Beilonghu Financial Center, with convenient transportation, complete facilities, and very convenient travel. The lobby is designed with a simple atmosphere, the log color is matched with soft lighting, the atmosphere is warm and comfortable, and you can feel the full oriental aesthetics and relaxation as soon as you enter the door. The rooms are clean and tidy, no smell, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and the quality of sleep is greatly improved. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the toiletries are exclusive white tea fragrance type for the whole season, fresh and elegant. The front desk service is warm and efficient, check-in and check-out are fast, responsive, and the details are intimate. The breakfast is rich in variety, balanced nutrition and timely supply. The overall price is very high, it is an ideal choice for business travel and short trips, next time you come to Zheng, you will choose here, highly recommended!

Service: The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. It was a hot day, and they thoughtfully turned on the AC in our room before we arrived, which was a lovely touch! Environment: The guesthouse's location is perfect! It's just a few minutes' walk to Luoyi Ancient City and Shizijie. Cleanliness: The room was spacious and spotless! Facilities: The room featured smart home appliances, and the zero-pressure, spine-friendly mattress was super comfortable and helped us relax after a long day. The price was also very affordable, offering excellent value for money. If I get the chance to visit Luoyang again, I'll definitely choose to stay here!

The hotel's environment and hygiene are excellent. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was neat and comfortable, making for a very relaxing stay. The smart Xiao Du assistant was very convenient to control. The front desk lady was enthusiastic and helped me with downloading the invoice online, and even arranged a late-night snack for me – it was so thoughtful!

recently stayed at the Chanwu Hotel in Dengfeng, and overall, it was a memorable experience, deeply rooted in its unique martial arts and Zen cultural theme. The hotel, rated as a four-star property, lives up to its reputation with a grand, opulent design that blends traditional Chinese aesthetics with modern comforts. The martial arts exhibitions, including a nightly Kung Fu show that outshone the one at Shaolin Temple, were a highlight, immersing guests in the local culture. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed with antique-style furniture, creating a museum-like atmosphere that felt both luxurious and authentic. The vegetarian restaurant offered tasty, culturally significant dishes, though the breakfast buffet lacked Western options and the coffee could use improvement. The location is ideal, just 9 km from Shaolin Temple and close to other attractions like Songyang Academy, making it perfect for exploring Dengfeng’s cultural landmarks. As for the receptionist, Miss 李, she was exceptional. Her warm, friendly demeanor and proactive assistance stood out, as she helped with everything from organizing transportation to answering queries with a smile. Reviews consistently praise the front desk staff, and Miss 李 embodied the hotel’s “customer first” philosophy, making our stay feel personalized and welcoming. Her attentiveness, along with the staff’s overall service, truly enhanced the experience, ensuring we felt cared for throughout our visit. Miss Li's (李 )hospitality is exceptional.

The room was clean and the bathroom facilities were well-equipped. It was relatively quiet in the evenings. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and it's also very close to the Tianbing Cold Drink Factory store. After we used up the two complimentary bottles of water on the first night, the staff proactively replenished an extra bottle the next day. Excellent service!

I always prioritize Atour when I travel, and this one is super close to the high-speed train station with plenty of dining options right outside, which is really convenient. The mattress and pillows are exceptionally comfortable. I also love Atour's laundry room, which is next to the gym – it's great to squeeze in a workout while waiting for my laundry. Plus, the breakfast spread is diverse, and the 'Hui Mian' (braised noodles) are delicious. They even offer coffee cups to take your coffee to go, which is a nice touch! 👍

An older hotel, I didn't have high hopes because I'm not a fan of carpets, but it turned out to be quite good after checking in! No allergies at all. Plus, there's a Mixue flagship store right across the street downstairs, and the pedestrian street is just below – super convenient. Personally, I found Metro Exit D to be more convenient than Exit B; you can just stroll along and find yourself at the hotel.
