⭐ Family Stay Review: Aryaduta Pekanbaru
We recently stayed at Aryaduta Pekanbaru for a family trip, and while the hotel has a good location and a well-known brand, our experience was below expectations.
👥 Front Desk Experience
The check-in process was disappointing. The front staff were not friendly, and there was very little warmth or hospitality. Even though our room was already ready, they were very strict about only allowing check-in after 3pm, which made things inconvenient—especially for families travelling with children or elderly.
🏨 Room Condition
The hotel is quite old, and it shows.
• The room had a noticeable old smell when we entered.
• The toilet wasn’t very clean, and water leaked out into the room area, which was uncomfortable and unsafe for kids.
• Overall, the upkeep and cleanliness were not at the standard we expected.
🏊 Facilities
We went to the pool area but found no staff at the pool counter, which made it difficult to request towels or assistance. The pool area itself is decent, but the lack of staff presence made it feel unmanaged.
📍 Location
The hotel is in a convenient central area, close to malls and food outlets, which is the main positive point.

Aryaduta Pekanbaru has potential because of its location and brand, but the hospitality, cleanliness, and maintenance need significant improvement. For families, the strict check-in policy, room condition, and lack of staff attention made the stay less comfortable than expected.
This review reflects our genuine experience, and we hope it helps the hotel improve and guides other travellers planning their stay.
Comfortable hotel about 30 minutes from the airport, located near a park and government buildings. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Iman, the petite morning-shift concierge staff (unfortunately I didn’t get his name), and the housekeeping staff who assisted with the extra bed and recommended great places to visit. Check-in by Mr. Agung was smooth. Breakfast was good.
Overall, this was my first stay at The Premiere Pekanbaru, and it was a pleasant experience. Highly recommended.
Good environment with nice breakfast. The rooftop lounge is good for hangouts with full city view. Room is spacious. One thing to be improved would be the soundproof feature for the room is not available, with audible noises from your neighbour and the bell ringing sound. Otherwise, the bed is comfortable, as well as, water pressure & temperature are just nice.
Decent hotel, clean enough, comfie linen, staff are friendly but sadly the shopping mall next door is not the best. Walking distance to Living World shopping mall.
The furniture littlebit old, but overall clean..
I did special request of King bed room, but end up still did not fully fulfill all my request, end up getting some were Twin Single bed room.
The only issue I had that hotel reception desk staff could not find my reservation despite sending confirmation that room was booked. It took 20 mins to sort this out.
Amazing Hotel:
Large pool well suited for swimming (about 20m), Whirlpool, Sauna, Steambath & Gym. All sparkling clean, modern, nice atmosphere to chill at the pool.
Delicious breakfast with huge variety of dishes, all sorts of eggs, omelet prepared fresh.
Spacious, clean, modern great rooms, good aircon.
Overall: perfect stay
The location is just super convenient, bridged with mall. Walking distance to Alfromart & Indomart, opposite Novotel which was full that we resorted to Fox Harris. But no regret. There was surprise fox performance during breakfast, and free cake decorating for kids during breakfast too.
It was great location however the cleanliness need to improve alot especially their linens and towels seemed old and need to change. It's a new management but the linens they had didn't justify. The services was great, also the breakfast foods was tasty and varied. It was great experience however the top management need to consider their linens, blankets and towels.
Very Good

PPaul W..Welcoming staff, nice clean room and great location to the airport for a short stay. Room service was fast and food/drink delicious! Thankyou :)
HHendy TandionoThe room is clean
The bed is not very comfortable, it needs a to be changed to a new one.
Location is a bit far from the center.
The gym is very small & disappointing, it's should NOT be called as a gym, but a room with 1 treadmill & a full set of dumbbell.
DDoan Vu NghiThe Grand Zuri Duri is an excellent hotel that offers great comfort and high-quality service. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant stay for guests. The staff is friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with any needs. The hotel’s facilities, including the swimming pool and gym, are well-equipped and add to the overall experience. The restaurant serves delicious food with a good variety of options. Whether for business or leisure, Grand Zuri Duri provides a relaxing and enjoyable stay, making it one of the best choices in the area.

AAnonymous UserOverall, it's good value for money, but there are some downsides. There was no hot water for showering. The front desk service was very welcoming, which is why I insisted on staying there. The only downside was the lack of hot water. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel was cleaner than other hotels, and not damp. If you don't mind the lack of hot water or the not-too-cold water, it's a good option.
